Unusual and very pretty. Very delicate. But if hanging near your ear(s) the rustling sound it has whenever you move is particularly loud and could become annoying. It's a set of two identical pieces. Each piece anchors into the hair by means of a straightforward hair grip (aka bobby pin), not a barrette.

I wasn't sure from the photos how it clips to the hair - looked like a small chopstick. However, it is a hair slide which is much better. Very impressed with the quality and hope that it stands up to being used at a festival in a few weeks. Wish there had been more colour options.
