Can someone please tell me the shelf life of this product? My 10 yr. old bottle is almost 90% full. I do see a code on it which reads "38738".

My just purchase bottle has an expiration date of 2018, so that would be 3 years. I wouldn't use 10 yr. old solution for my fish.

I'm sorry... Can't help because your level of expertise is way above mine. But, for next time: I always add the Amquel to some water in the kitchen sink.. I never hold the bottle above the tank. Guess those chemistry classes at the University of Florida paid off!
