I can't contain my excitement! I grew up on a farm and thought I'd seen everything. I WAS WRONG!!! In fact, I was SOOOO wrong that I've just ordered 7 more Tomato Buckets because nothing else compares. Everything planted in the Tomato Buckets is thriving way beyond average. I'm absolutely in love with them. Best purchase ever! They're so easy to use, and the results are just incredible. You can't mess this up... it's that simple.

I absolutely love these tomato bucket inserts! They absolutely perform as seller indicated! I bought 3 initially. They were absolutely perfect! Received when promised!I have just ordered the 7 pack I like them so much!EDIT: The buckets mold terrible inside, not the actual insert. It turns the roots green. Just wondering if there is something I can do to rectify the situation?

Planted some peppers in them. Very easy to use. The wool is already in the bottom. Put them in a 5 gallon bucket (with water in it and drill a hole about handle height). Fill it with potting soil and your plant and bingo you are done. Got these so I can move them around and not keep them in the ridiculous Texas sun all the time. Now let's see how they grow! I have been using this system for over a month and so far it has worked as described my only concern with this system there is no water port to refill the system nor indicate when the water is low. You need to lift the device off the bucket to fill the bucket to the water line which is a pain when working with soil in the . It does do as described but my opinion there is room for improvement. There is no assembly just place the tomatoe bucket on a 5 gallon bucket. Also using a trellises with this system is not easy you need to have a specific size and depth of trellis to fit the bucket securely. The price value for this system is good just needs some design improvements.

I liked the large reservoir but disliked the lack of a fill port for "watering from the bottom." (There also isn't an indicator for how empty the reservoir is.) We will probably continue to use these just for tomatoes but will use them as semi-hydroponics (never let them go without watering for more than 2 days) and use the overflowing drain to ensure the fill level is maintained. Next year, I will plumb a bucket with a 5/8" quick connect fitting to see if that fixes the bottom watering issue.

I’ve been gardening for decades, and have tried many, many methods of growing (raised beds, hydroponics, aquaponics, square foot method, etc.). This year I wanted easy. So far I’m really pleased with the results of using these planters. I started all my plants from seed, and transferred them as soon as they could be outside this year. The results are obvious - in the pic, the peppers in the 5 gallon wicking system are about six inches taller, leaves bigger, more foliage. I can’t wait to see the difference in fruit! I’d give it 5 stars but I think there is room for improvement. Some sort of accommodation for a trellis, a way to keep the planter level, and purpose made buckets with watering holes would be great additions to a great product. But that said, I’d buy these again in a heartbeat - I don’t have to worry about keeping things perfectly watered, and the plants get what they need.

This is my third time purchasing tomato buckets. They are amazing! They make growing anything so easy. These easy inserts go into a 5 gallon bucket and make watering plants something you only need to do once a month. Simply plant whatever your heart desires and walk away for a month and come back to delicious vegetables or herbs.My order shipped immediately and came in perfect condition. I will likely order more of these tomato buckets as I get my garden going. Cannot recommend these buckets enough?
