So far so good. I have several different winders, and they all did its job but this Dukwin winder is definitely the nicest looking one. My previous winders all had Mabuchi motor, so I knew they were very quiet. This one also has Mabuchi motors so it's very quiet but you can hear a slight sound if you keep the door open. Door closed no problem. The black piano finish with green interior makes this winder so classy looking. It's not really a negative comment but as others have mentioned, it is somewhat top heavy. When opening the door or removing the watch you have to hold the unit, so it won't tip over.

I purchased this watch winder for my husband for our wedding and 6 months later it is already broken. For the price of this device, this is ridiculous. One day just stopped turning and no way to fix it.

The winder seems okay but it is missing the key! Amazon is no help! Why ship the winder back when it only needs the key! Hopefully the seller will be able to help!

I give it 4.5 for right now. I'm waiting on my exchange. It had a little gap when closing it on the right lower corner. Other then that it worked perfectly.

Loose parts noticed during unboxing. Counterweight inside had fallen off (poor manufacturing) which severed a wire for the LED lighting (did not work). Disassembled, refastened wire for lighting, and reassembled. Unit worked good for about a week, then stopped working. Will run all the time, no changing of direction or timers functional. This unit actually looked "used" when I unpacked it. After finding loose parts inside and non-functional lighting, it was likely the case. Now after a few weeks of operation, the winder just runs all the time. The build quality is very poor. Not worth it. This is a throw-away item. Too much trouble (and weight) to return. Going to the trash. What a disappointment. You get what you pay for. Live and learn. Moving on.
