If u buy this for the redcat volcano epx just be prepared that it makes it react like a hole different truck just because of the weight of the rotating mass

Red Cat Lighting. Replaced original gears with this set Spur 64/ 21 Pinion. I installed with Traxxas VXL motor and esc. Speed is good sounds great and the gears are holding up on 3S. I would like MOD 1 gears.

Sheared off every tooth the moment I hit the throttle on a 1/18 A959 running a Surpass Platnium brushless 5900kv motor on a 2S battery so it definitely won't handle bigger cars. Just like the other 90% of RC parts I've bought on Amazon these are crap downgrade parts. The original cheap brass pinion has barely worn down. I ordered these to change gears & just threw $ away. Seems like I have to blow $100 on trash to find a $10 part up to OE standard. Bought new axles, 1 broke immediately, new gears, 1 went immediately, new wheels & tires that wont work on my car. All I got for $60 is more repairs & headaches

Pinion broke within 30 seconds. Correctly installed and meshed..spur still in one piece. If looking for metal gears would recommend against this one.

Works really well and are really durrable.

What a difference from what was in my stock redcat caldera 10e. These run so smooth it's rediculess.
