Easy and friendly teaching style
At the first chapter’s start, the exercises quickly expand your vocabulary with a pronunciation key in a reference by learning about someone’s family. I can’t wait to continue with more.

Great for beginners!
I just now began reading this book and am quite impressed. I have quite a few years' experience with Spanish and decided to purchase the Painless Spanish book for a solo refresher course. It is written very well and also has an easy to follow structured format that even a beginner would comprehend!

Love this book as it make the learning of Spanish not as difficult as you would think. You must have the passion for the culture, language, goals in order to succeed in implimenting new language.

Useful, but
The book is very well put together. It brings the learner through the Spanish language using social constructs family, home, etc. The problem is there is no actual voice saying some of the words.

Possibly useful as a periodic review for intermediate learners
Beginners might find the presentation difficult to follow while intermediate students would find this book rather too easy. Not sure which audience the authors were targeting.

Simple and easy Spanish vocabulary
Excellent book. I have studied Spanish in University for a year and find this a great help in assisting with reviving what I learned. It is simple and easy to follow.
