One of the best flashlights I’ve ever used
tldr: This is by far my favorite light that I have ever owned, and I recommend this to anyone and everyone. This is an incredible flashlight. It’s compact, the clip lets you put it just about anywhere on your clothes, and it’s not only bright, but rechargeable. I work as an HVAC technician, and my most used tool is my headlamp, but now it’s my flare 2. The flood light mode (mode 3) is incredible at lighting up an area, and the inspection light (mode 1 and 2) is great for tight areas. The included picture is in a pitch black room, yet when I clip it to my shirt, I can work with both hands as if the room were fully lit. It’s easier to maneuver than my previous inspection light, and it’s RECHARGEABLE! My current headlamp eats through 3 AAA batteries each week, and I’ve spent $20 on batteries alone for it in the last 6 months. This light? Charge it in my work truck every so often between calls and you’ve got consistently bright light. I completely and wholeheartedly recommend this to any trade worker, inspector, or anyone who needs a reliable and consistent light.

Game changer for the way you carry your keys!
Flashlight attaches to Keyport Pivot 2.0 for certain instances as well for use in low, limited, or no light at all situations. It is very bright , three setting's, and is rechargeable!! Definitely a must have to go on your Keyport Pivot 2.0

Super Bright and Super Small!
Keyport knocked it out of the park with this updated flashlight! Beware, it is BRIGHT!! Battery lasts super long. I don't think I've ever charged it. Pocket clip is convenient to carry the light on its own, but I tend to attach the flashlight to other Keyport products like the Slide 4.0 or their Pivot for a more all-in-one EDC. You can't go wrong with tiny but mighty light!

Really great.
I have searched high and low, and I don't think there's a better flashlight for EDC out there. Yes, it's not the brightest or longest lasting, but it's plenty bright and long lasting for what you need on most days, and the form factor can't be beat. The color of the main led is a little cool for my liking, and it doesn't match the color temperature of the lantern mode LEDs, which is annoying. Those latter LEDs have a much better warm white color though, and the flexibility to clip it on a pocket or lapel in lantern mode is great. Highly recommend.

Actually very useful in a small package.
These are nice, can recommend as a pocket torch.

Great....except for the battery! ***Updated***
The size of this flashlight is perfect. The problem is the battery drains even when not in use. I have quit carrying it because every time I went to use it the battery was dead. Update: Keyport reached out and offered a replacement Pocket Flare. After testing, it appears my original Pocket Flare was defective. I have updated my rating (including an extra star for the customer service).

1000% IMPRESSED
I have the 1st generation of this little flashlight which I liked, but the second version? Holy mackerel! Bright, long battery life, difficult to accidentally turn on, fits impeccably with my keyport…..what’s not to love? I’m SUPER impressed with the improvements that were made on this. Also, noted: I ordered it and had it in my hand in a few days. I live on Maui. You guys had it shipped within minutes of me ordering it. All the best to your company! I love my Keyport!

Creators Of This Light ( Idea To Make Better 💡)
Great Concept — Just Needs a Few Key Improvements I really like the overall design and portability of this flashlight. The flat, compact form factor is perfect for clipping inside a bag with MOLLE loops, and it’s super handy for nighttime use. That said, there’s a lot of untapped potential here. First, the runtime definitely needs improvement—adding at least an extra hour would make a big difference, especially without increasing the size. A better battery, like those used in Nitecore lights, could help with this. Second, the lighting options could be more versatile. I’d love to see red and UV side lights added. Red light is especially helpful at night since it doesn’t ruin night vision or travel far—great for discreet tasks in the dark. One of my biggest frustrations is the lack of a memory function. It should remember the last used mode, and ideally let users reprogram the click order. Having to click three times just to get to the main lamp isn’t practical, especially when it’s clipped and used frequently. Being able to make the headlamp the first click would be a major upgrade. If this flashlight kept the same sleek design but added more lighting modes (white/red/UV with low, medium, and high), programmable settings, longer runtime, and a slightly tougher, waterproof case—it would be near perfect. I’d happily pay $30–$50 for a 3-in-1 keychain/backpack light with those features. Please build on this platform—maybe even a mini version for top backpack pockets. You’ve got something great here. Just give it the upgrades it deserves, and I’ll be first in line to buy another.
