Easy, cost-efficient way to add a single IP-camera to your local network
I like these units so much I bought two: one for each of my remotely placed IP-cameras. The units are economical and they work really well to deliver power to the cameras and receive the captured video -- all over a single cheap Cat-5e cable.Solves the problem of having your DVR/NVR plugged into a different location than each of your cameras on a common local area network.I'd buy it again if I have to add another camera in another remote location.

Worked as expected.
Worked as expected providing sufficient power for U6 WiF AP. Simple plug & go

1Gig only (not 2.5g or 10g)
As advertised, this injector supports 1Gbps link rates. Unfortunately, it will NOT link devices at rates *higher* than 1G. Devices like the UniFi U7-Pro step down to 1G when using this injector.

Good for 1 camera
If you just have 1 camera you need to power this is a good option. If you think you might add more later it's better to get a cheap POE switch. This is easy to use. The POE port goes to your camera. The LAN port goes to you switch or router. The plug goes to your electrical outlet. Just be sure the power required by your device isn't more then power supply is rated for.

Great injector!
I used this to feed two generic POE cameras and it worked perfectly as advertised. This is a true time and money saving product for me. I installed a bunch of cameras recently and used a few injectors to install POE cameras. I only had to wire short ethernet cables from the injector/extender to the cameras. If you don't have any existing ethernet cables, then it's a bit of a different story though. The build quality is great too!

Works as expected
I have had this installed and running for months with no problems. Not a lot to comment on except it seems to be solid and reliable.

Functional PoE injector with missing UL information
I found this PoE Injector a straightforward and effective solution for powering individual PoE devices. It's very simple to use: just a power cable, a LAN input and a PoE output. I especially appreciate that there is no need for a bulky wall-wart adapter. In terms of performance, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, providing power over Ethernet without any hiccups. However, I was disappointed to discover that despite the product's claim of being UL listed, there was no visible UL logo on the device itself or sufficient information on the packaging or instruction paper to verify this certification on ul.org. In fact, there isn't even a company or factory name. This raises concerns about the safety and quality assurance that comes with UL certification. While the device works well, potential buyers should be aware of this discrepancy if the UL listing is a crucial factor in their purchasing decision. It certainly is the case for me.
