Not very user friendly but does what it says
I got this for a 3D printer that I built and after much Google-fu and recompiling Marlin a few times, I finally got it working how it should. I had to kinda go around the software and edit the config file to be able to have drag and drop functionality. It takes a while to detect on my network and data transfer speeds are incredibly slow, but I guess it beats swapping an SD card back and forth. If you are using this for the same purpose as me, I recommend using your slicer to export gcode to your hard drive and then move it over to the SD card wirelessly instead of trying to slice gcode straight to the SD card. I had to reformat the card a few times before I got things right. Not an experience I would want to repeat again, but once I got it working I am happy with it.

DON"T BUY! Poor Quality Control! Customer Service & Warranty is a Joke!
To start out, if I could give a review with negative stars I would!I used the product for a month and it worked fine, then the card somehow failed and was unreadable in any of my cameras. I called the Toshiba customer service to see about warranty replacement and I was told they don't provide replacements for this product. They do a RMA in the form of a Visa gift card with a value based on the current market price of the card (which will probably be less than what I paid for the SD card)! I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my "gift card" to arrive!I also called a different number for Toshiba tech support to see if I could get the card working somehow! The person who answered was the same person from the warranty department! I guess they only have one person working there!I paid $32.15 for the card. When the gift card arrives I'll update my review to let everyone know how much they refunded me.I hope someone from Toshiba reads my review. I want them to know that their failure to support their $32 product has cost them a customer. I will probably never buy another Toshiba product again because of my experience with this item!Update 11/15/18I got my gift card refund today. They gave me $30.00.

Patience is a virtue...
So this wifi sd card is pretty damn awesome...ish! Take your picture, pull out your phone, and boom your picture is there to view, download, share socially. Im using this Toshiba card in a micro sd card to sd card adapter, which that is plugged into a VuPoint Magic Wand portable scanner, and then finally makes my scanner fully wifi (built in wifi version was ridiculously overpriced). So overall the transfer speed of the LAN connection is blazing fast. My scanner takes 1 second after it scans to show a preview and by the time it does that, the file is already transferred. The card says it reads RAW (and countless other picture/video files) but ive only tried jpegs. My scanner does PDF and it doesn't transfer that (didnt expect it to since its a media only sd card). The reason for the 3 stars is because the setup of this card... well lets just say I'd rather install a blender blindfolded than to attemt to set this card up again. To initiate the card you have to use the software and it literally tells you eject and reinsert the card like 5 times in a row. It takes a good amount of time to setup and get all working. This process was for Windows 10 x64 and I still cant connect the card through wifi. On the Android side, it works fairly well and very fast. You either go to your wifi and type in your password or you use the flashair app. Both work fairly well, I would recommend you use the app because you can change all system settings from within (once you made a mastercode from when you plugged into your pc). You arent allowed to delete/put in photos, only receive photos by the card. Overall a very cool niche product that removes a very petty problem of manually removing an sd card and inserting into a sd slot on your computer, but that convenience factor of having your scanned photo/dslr photo instantly be seen on your device...not too shabby as the end goal. Great for people who want a bigger preview photo than their camera screen can offer. Also great if the sd slot (or in my case the micro sd card adapter) is in a really tight spot and a bigger hassel to remove it vs buying this product. I wish Toshiba would make clearer instructions because I'm completely lost on how to connect to Windows 10. Havent tried the range, but since you are limited to a LAN connection I would say it is of mobile hotspot range (30ish feet). I think I read somewhere someone said it's a 2.4ghz connection and not a 5, if that at all matters to you. With all that said, take a deep breath and good luck in trying to set up the card, try the app/wifi route instead, because once you get it going...it really is a technological breakthrough to put LAN into a sd card.

Works perfectly in ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP machine with FlashPAP data transfer software
Works perfectly in a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP machine using FlashPAP software to transfer data to Windows computer for viewing with OSCAR or SleepyHead software. No longer need to keep removing SD card from the CPAP machine every day and worrying about data corruption or wearing out the SD card slot.Update: I've been using this for 3 years now and it's still working well!

Wireless Part Does Not Work Well
I was trying to use this as a wireless SD card for my 3-D Printer (so I didn't have to run SD cards back and forth, nor string a cable between my computer and my Printer). It is advertised to work for that scenario, but it really doesn't. The setup program doesn't let you configure things the way you need to so that the SD card is a "member" of your home network. I was able, after much tweaking, to get it to work, but it would sporadically go into a read-only mode. I'm not very impressed; what I have right now is a very expensive SD card.It works fine if I'm willing to let the SD card have its own SSID, but that's a pretty awkward configuration to work with.

Waste of money, product doesn't work
Product doesn't work. Configuration program fails, firmware update utility fails, then configuration program says it's not a flashair card. Product is not worth the bother - never did get the wifi functionality to work so returned it.

Horrible, Just Horrible
So a few years ago Toshiba bought this technology from the company that made EyeFi. EyeFi was great, it was always on, you could have the card download only certain files and more. For instance you could shoot both in RAW and a medium format JPG then send the JPG to your iPad (or other wifi device) as soon as the shutter button was pressed. With this card, if you can get it to hold the password, gives you no choice, no options whatsoever. You have to download the files manually. Nearly every time I log into it I need the password, and it's never the password I set in the app. It's extremely fustrating to use.
