This impact has a lot of power to gun off stubborn lugs and bolts. The only thing this impact struggles on was a promaster 2500 where the stud lugs were seized on. If you need a powerful air impact at a good price this definitely beats most tool truck impacts. Only cons could be is the trigger quailty and the weight. The trigger can be on and off sometimes but keeping it well oiled gets rid of that. if you want something more lightweight and better trigger quailty, and a tad bit more power just get the matco mt3779 but that is a $600 impact so keep that in mind. I used shop air with 1/4 fittings and it gets the job done

I’ve been running this wrench for a month now, and like any serious tool, it took a bit of a break-in period—or maybe just time for me to get used to it as my main ugga dugga. It’s got muscle, no doubt about it. I mostly stick with the Level 2 mode for everyday jobs—tyres, subframe bolts, and general ½" socket duties—because Level 3 is downright overkill unless you’re tackling something heavy-duty. That level 3 higher mode is perfect for the stubborn stuff, like seized CV axle nuts or other big challenges. Overall, this gun is a beast. It’ll definitely give your arms a workout by the end of the day, but for what it delivers, I reckon it's absolutely worth it.

I bought this specifically for a couple of Honda crank bolts, I broke 2 breaker bars trying to move the first and was preparing to try 3/4 inch gear, I first attempted a Chinese high torque battery gun from here which did not work and was kinda falling apart. Then I tried this, boom its done. This is definitely a powerful tool, I don't think its a everyday tool cause it is so powerful it can round or break stuck bolts pretty quick but if you need power and don't want to spend 600 on a big name brand battery model this is your huckleberry.

I needed a really powerful impact to take some nuts loose on the suspension of my truck. I actually tried 3 other brands of impacts before this one. Holy crap!! This thing's a monster! Hold it tight to save your wrist! This is the strongest 1/2" impact I've used yet. After buying this, I ran across a website comparing a number of big name impacts, most with higher price tags than the Thor G2. The Thor G2 outperformed all but one very famous brand, with which it tied. The tests were all conducted with a calibrated torque meter. I'm sold. I'm looking forward to using this long term.
