Does good coverage. There is some water that comes through during rain as expected but it has good thickness and quality. This is connected to our patio and covers two story windows and it is a very noticeable temperature change. I recommend tying to the ground with rope so it does not get as much wind damage. The knots are very strong but wind is the big factor. It gets about 100° and these make a huge difference and help us block the house from the direct sun

Bought this last year and use it to cover my chicken run. It blocks out the sun and provides a lot of shade for my chickens. I use it during the summer and remove during the winter and it still looks almost brand new. Love the durability, we get some strong wind and weather patterns and it has held up. It was the perfect size and reasonably priced. I have used blue tarps in the past and they only last one year and rip to shreds by winter leaving shreds all over the fencing and ground. We love this so much we are looking to purchase one for our porch.

I use this over my chicken coop to offer shade for my girls! Works great. I have had it for over a year, and it is still holding up very well. Stays secured and provides great shade!

It's not waterproof but perfect for sunlight, besides strong material for many year' use I hope; The frame is 10× 10 n it is still good for this 6.5×10 cover though; It's easy to take down n put up ; Cannot beat the price ,highly recommend , best choice I'v evermade.

Great value for intended purpose -UV reducer and nature color , but I ended up returning for a more durable material. I wanted something I could retract and re-deploy and this material would not hold up to that.

This thing is so great. Its definitely durable and blocks the heat. My plants love it. I had it on my patio vertically tied by the rings on the corners and it helps pretty well even in the moderate wind. Definitely worth the buy. It fell a little short for my patio but that was my mistake in measuring the lendth.

This shade cloth works great, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the eyelet holes are too far apart, other than that great shade covering.
