My son goes through a lot of batteries in his Xbox controller so these work great. He can play using one while the other charges. So far no problems

Would give this a 5 star rating, but 1 battery pack doesn't hold a good charge like the other one. Other than that, they are pretty good. Worth the investment. I'm not going through a 10 pack of AA batteries a week. So that's a bonus.

They work on the older mini-usb controllers but not the new controllers with the usb-C plug in the front.

I was an idiot and thought these said that they were for the series s instead of the one s and it didn’t fit. There were two pieces making it not fit so I decided to snap them off since I couldn’t return the product anyways and I wouldn’t say they snapped off as much as they fell off, if you sit in these things, they are pretty much done for. I’ve never seen plastic this cheap. The inside is very simple, just two rechargeable AAA batteries. I would recommend paying a few extra dollars for a different product.

Reading other reviews, i don’t know if i got a good batch or what, but i love these things. First off I’m gonna say i have a first gen Xbox one, if that matters. Before these, i had a $25 setup from Walmart with a charging dock. Problem was, you always had to have the batteries installed in a controller to charge them. These were half the price, and have their own USB port so you can charge them when not in the controller. Little light is red when charging, turns green when charged. Simple stuff. They have the battery cover built-in to them, so swapping them out is as easy as changing a magazine in a handgun. I’ve figured out a little trick, and that is if i leave my turtle beach headset plugged in my controller won’t turn off from being idle, which is nice for Netflix so i can hit “next episode” or “skip intro.” I’ve watched Atleast 8 hours of Netflix strait, without the controller turning off and occasionally hitting the button to “skip” before the “low controller batteries” warning will pop up on the screen. They maybe last 3-4 hours actively gaming without needing to charge, but the other pack will charge faster than the one you’re using will drain. Also, I’ve had them for over two months and they still perform as if new. Obviously nicad batteries will deteriorate with time, but even if i have to buy another pair every 6 months, they are still cheaper, more convenient, and easier to change in the controller than normal AA’s.

This pair of rechargeable xbox batteries were purchased to replace the constant use of AA batteries. We were getting frustrated with using normal AA batteries inside my controller that kept popping out so we searched on amazon and purchased these battery packs. The battery does not move around like normal batteries and fit the controller perfect and snug. Another reason besides price was we wanted the white and not black to go onto our white xbox one controllers. When charging the pack make sure you plug the charging cable into the port in the battery pack not the one in the controller. The box is professionally decorated and looks like something you would buy at the yellow tag electronics store or gaming supply stop store.
