Dao was my favorite Rituals scent, but it has been discontinued. It is hard to find.

The scent is amazing the presentation couldn’t b more perfect!

This candle is packed in a lovely box ... everything about it reads "gift-worthy." Before you even slide the lid off, you will notice a heavenly aroma: once the lid is off, it's simply intoxicating. Such a glorious fragrance. What I really like about this candle is that it doesn't have some obvious smell (like Fresh Picked Apples or Mom's Blueberry Cobbler). Instead, this scent is genuinely exotic. Genuinely beautiful.Additionally, this is a generously sized but still tactful candle. The glass is thick and attractive.If I were to offer a note on what could make this candle perfect, I would remove the hokey expression written (in cursive, of course) on the back. This saying limits gift-giving and seems a little cliche. Nonetheless, the world is full of people who will dig these "thoughts." So, it just depends on if this is your "thing" or not. (And, the expression is located on the back of the candle, so you really don't have to look at it).Nice candle! Great fragrance!

The candle arrived beautifully packaged. When taken out of the box the box opens wide like a flower in bloom which is a nice touch and something I haven’t seen before. Because the candle had been in the box for who knows how long the scent was initially very strong, but when left out for several hours much of the scent aired itself out and then the candle then smelled lovely. The candle itself is a creamy white in a heavy gray green glass and smells wonderful. What I particularly liked, especially in these turbulent times, was the wording on the back of the glass: “Accept what is,let go of what was,and have faith in what will be…”There’s nothing like Chinese philosophy!

Rituals of Dao scented candle is a very soft-spoken scented candle that is designed to burn for 50 hours. It has a calming, relaxing, and peaceful fragrance. The fragrance filled an entire room overnight without burning when I initially received the candle. It was a light and gentle fragrance that filled the room and I was surprised how it could make that big of an impact. The candle reads "Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be" The writing is hard to decipher initially because of the dark green glass but this message will be able to be read when the candle further melts down and is lit. I love the message of the candle but wish the message was brighter without it burning. I did not see the writing at first and this should be fully appreciated as this is a big part of the candle. I burn the candle 20 minutes or so at a time and max 40 minutes. It is very smooth burning and burns evenly. When the candle burns out the glass is a keepsake and may be used as a glass, tea light holder, coin cup, etc. Use very hot water to dissolve any remaining wax and throw away any leftover wax pieces. The candle burns very smooth and evenly so this should not be an issue. Overall, I am happy with the quality of the wax and candle presentation. This would make a lovely gift and is a great choice.

My wife burns candles consistently however enjoys the same scent. She reluctantly tried this and we enjoy it. First of all, it is packaged nicely and is appropriate for a gift. The outside of the candle looks nice the color is striking enough to fit in to many decors.I asked my wife to describe the scent independently of me and we both agreed it smells “Fresh” and “Clean” but it also smells true to it’s name which is relaxing. It’s NOT sweet or flavored like Vanilla, but just earthy while not being overly too much of anything. It’s a good size so it should last for quite awhile.

This candle is even better than expected. It smells wonderful! I had no idea what Yi Yi Ren and White Lotus was, but I just love it! It arrives exactly as described, & the etched saying on the side of the glass is one of my favorite quotes.Would I recommend? YesIs this an item I would purchase again? YesWould it make a nice gift? Beautiful, heavy weight candle. Creamy wax burns slowly and fills most any size room with just the right amount of scent. Speaking of which, “white lotus” is difficult to explain exactly. It smells a bit floral and a bit creamy. It’s subtle, not woodsy, and not citrus. I’d. Lassitude it as a relaxing unisex aroma.

Ich liebe alle Rituals Kerzen, aber diese besonders. Der Duft ist nicht aufdringlich und beim abbrennen wird er leicht freigesetzt und erfrischt den Raum. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Kerzen ist der Preis ziemlich hoch aber finde er ist diesen auch wert. Ich kaufe die Kerzen von Rituals meist als Geschenk und bisher gab es auch noch keine Ablehnung dagegen.

Huele muy poco. Tengo otros productos del gama yeste casi no huele a nada.

Ein toller Sinnlicher Durft. Ein schönes Geschenk für Mann oder Frau. Sehr Empfehlenswert.
