I can't believe I purchased this vacuum cleaner 2-1/2 years ago! It works just as well today as the day I bought it. I have wall-to-wall half-inch shag carpeting in 3 rooms in my apartment. On top of that, I have a cat! Brcause it is a ClearView vacuum cleaner, you can actually see the fur and other particles spin in the canister. This also helps to see when to empty it to prevent a strain on the motor. It is lightweight and manuevers easily around furniture. But one of the best features about this model is that you can completely disassemble and wash the all of the external parts, and sponge filter. It is easy to take apart and reassemble. Air dry for 24 hours---and it works like it is brand new! It is sturdy, powerful and you can also use it on bare floors. If you're looking for a vacuum cleaner that is dependable, easy to maintain and affordable---this Bissell CleanView Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner with Active Wand is the one for you. I highly recommend you purchase this vacuum cleaner. In my opinion, it works as well--or better than vacuum cleaners twice the price as similiar models by other manufactures.

I have been using a Bissell vacuum cleaner for over 10 years. When my previous vacuum was damaged, I searched online for a replacement and decided to stay with the same brand. I purchased a new Bissell vacuum from Amazon at the end of November 2025 for a reasonable price. It was delivered to my door on time. So far, it has been working very well—it is lighter in weight and has a longer extension than my old one. I am satisfied with its performance and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable vacuum cleaner for carpeted floors.

Very very good vacuum for a reasonable price. #1. no assembly required #2. not too heavy for those who have stairs #3. excellent suction power #4. easy to empty cannister #5. soft hum, so not too loud. Good purchase from a reputable company like Bissell. Only time will tell what type of longevity I will get, but I'm very optimistic that this one will last and I will get my money's worth.

Was debating between this and a few other similar price point vacuums, including a compact model and decided on this one. It replaces a Hoover i still have but never liked because it was heavy, bulky and all the tools broke. This vacuum is very light and easy to maneuver. The on board tools are what sold me on it. Suction is good and that wand will reach the ceiling. So far i'm happy with it. Definitely glad I didn't go for the compact model because I wouldn't want anything smaller or less power than this. Also fairly quiet. Nice little vacuum, albeit it's all plastic and doesn't feel super solid but gets the job done.

I can’t speak of the longevity of this vacuum, but I’m very pleased with it so far. Having tried the battery stick type, the robot, and the canister, I like this upright the best. The stick vacuum battery died twice, and it was like $100 to replace. I liked the convenience, but not the expense or not being able to clean the floors while waiting for a new battery to arrive. The robot vacuum was also convenient, but in my opinion, it didn’t pick up nearly as well as a standard vacuum cleaner.. if you live in a house with large rooms and not too much furniture, the robot will be fine, but for small apartments, it bounces off every surface and goes over the same place three times, while missing other spots completely. And if you want to rearrange your furniture, you have to re-map the whole place. It would take 45 minutes and not do a great job. As for the canister vacuum, it was cumbersome to drag around, and it would kept getting caught when navigating around doorways. THIS ONE: It seems very well made and sturdy. I’m a senior, and it was easy for even me to put together. Just snap the hose ends in I put the extra brushes on their holders.. it has a long, retractable cord, which is a definite bonus -no more cords to tediously wrap around the handles. It does not make an annoying, high-pitched wine like some vacuums. It has a wand release and brushes to clean high areas like blinds or curtains, and low areas like baseboards. You can adjust the height for carpet or bar floor. I have a low pile carpet and I left the setting in the middle and it worked fine on my carpet and my kitchen floor. The suction power was great and I got quite a bit of dust out of my carpet. I also like that I can see what came off my floor and empty the container very easily. I think this vacuum is well worth the price and I highly recommend it.
