Boy was I wrong! I'm so impressed. My paper method took a surprising amount of paper, created a mess with flying ash, and most times the charcoal still wouldn't fully ignite on the first attempt. These fire starters eliminated all of those frustrations. Just place one under the chimney, light it, and let it do its job. Come back in 15 minutes and you're ready to go. So far, I used two of the tumbleweeds. One burned for about 3 minutes, while the other, larger one, burned for over 8 minutes. Even with the difference in burn time, both produced enough consistent fire to get the charcoal lit without any issues. The whole process much easier than what I was used to. They are 100% odorless. They don't leave behind any unpleasant smells. If you regularly use a charcoal chimney for grilling or smoking, I highly recommend these fire starters.
