NuFoot is Awesome, Also Tips for Newbies!
Nufoot is the best. They are socks made of wetsuit material. Making these very very warm socks. If you are not cold and only chilled. Dont bother using these. These socks can be worn with nylon shorts only and in 30 to 40 degree cooler weather than you are use too, and you will be comfortable as heck. Every part of your body can be absolutely frozen and you wont feel it because your feet are warm. DO NOT WEAR THESE OUTSIDE OR ON PAVEMENT OR ANY ABRASIVE SURFACE. They just aren't built for that. Honestly I'm glad they aren't. They dont have a need for a strong sole because you can slip on almost any pair of shoes with these. Yes, I do mean slip on! Wetsuit material makes your socks nearly slide into any pair of shoes. Bottom still has great grip so there is no sliding. I've owned one pair for a year. They weren't ruined they just had a small hole in bottom from wearing outside a couple times. Also,WHEN YOU OWN YOUR FIRST PAIR!!!!!!!!REMEMBER! They will be tight, uncomfortable a little, keep wearing them! Wet them slightly. Get them hot. Let them mold to your foot. Adter about 24 hours of wearing them they will be molded to your feet and be absolutely perfect. To ensure they always end up on correct foot, I simply wrote a L and R into the very inside ankle of each sock. Even if i cant read the letter the black writing is always on the inside ankle. Hope this helps!!!!

Great for airline travel - especially those long trips.
My husband is a marathon runner and he travels all over the world to run. On longer haul flights we both like to take off our shoes and socks, but then what do you do when you have to go to the bathroom or stand up and stretch. You don't want to do that in bare feet - yuck. These foldable shoes are PERFECT. Small enough to go into the bag we use for the items we want to take out of the backpack for the duration of the trip. They keep the feet clean. One tip - I carry those disposable wet wipes and i DO clean the bottom off before I store them after the flight. Some times they are pretty dirty and you don't want that flying around all over your back pack or other items. Clean them off - refold and store for next trip!

Mostly for indoor use, but would be fine for checking mail & taking out trash. Have been using for 2 years - still like new.
I paid just under eleven fifty for these & are happy with them. Our disabled adult son lives with us & we moved into a 2 story house. My son wets the bed sometimes and gets urine on his bedding & on himself. We needed a way to get him from his upstairs bedroom down to the downstairs shower while keeping our carpet clean - regardless of what may or may not be on his feet. Slippers were the obvious answer, but most slippers can not be washed frequently. So, we purchased these - 3 pairs, so that if one was in the laundry, he'd still have a pair available. The 3rd pair was simply a back up until we found another solution to our problem, because quite frankly, we didn't think they'd last this long! We've been using the same 3 pairs for 2 years & they show no signs of wear - even though they are laundered frequently. We wash in cold & air dry - they dry fairly quickly. They are flexible & easy to put on - even if you're putting them on someone else. I don't know weather they breath well or not, as I haven't worn them myself. Once we've gotten our son downstairs, he has a wood floor to cross to get into our bathroom which has a tile floor. Even with his mobility issues, he has not slipped or fallen while wearing these on either of those surfaces. I also like that they are not 'floppy' like a lot of slippers are - again that can be a hazard for him (especially on stairs), while these are not. I don't know that anybody else is in our position, but if you are, these slippers solved a problem for us in a safe manner, are washable, & have lasted 2 years. For anyone that's wondering why we don't use incontenance products for our son at night, we do, but he removes them - the washable & the disposable briefs. So, since we can't prevent the mess, we did the next best thing - we purchased this product to keep from spreading the mess. So, while I get tired of washing bedding, @ least I don't have to shampoo carpets :-)For anybody considering these - I would describe these as a bootie, rather than a traditional slipper - definitely not a shoe. As durable as these have been in the laundry, I see no reason why one couldn't wear them to take out their trash or check their mail. I'm thinking of ordering a pair for myself for that very purpose. With no 'sole', I wouldn't wear them like shoes, simply because there would be no real protection if you stepped on a piece of glass in a parking lot or a nail, etc. They are probably a bit more protection than a sock, so for those of you that go outside on your own property barefoot or in socks, I think these would be sufficient for that, but I wouldn't try to mow the yard while wearing them :-) My son wears 7 1/2 to 8 in men's shoes - We ordered the small Nufoot & find them easy to put on him, while not being sloppy or loose while he's wearing it. I wear a 6 1/2 women's shoe & just tried a pair of his Nufoots on (with a thin sock) & it's a great fit. Hope this helps.

Like aquasocks
They have just the right thickness to be comfortable and breathable but also regulate temperature. Nice little anti slip bits on the bottom and very flexable.

A better sizing for extra wide would be nice.
I ordered them because the idea looked appealing and as I've gotten older my feet always seems cold. Anway what I received was way too tight across the bridge of my foot. I'm a 9 1/2 extra wide so I ordered the large size which is supposed to cover from 8 to 11. Not the case for my extra wide feet. The length was about right but otherwise it was way to tight. I won't be returning these. But for someone with wide feet I would pass on this product.
