As an experienced expandable floss user, I know never to reuse a section of floss therefore I never have trouble with breakage. It’s no different for this floss. I normally use GUM Expandable Floss, however, I floss twice a day so the packaging is a problem. My municipality is running out of landfill space.My regular floss fluffs out more than this floss, but it is also thicker. This floss is so much more slender that I can get into deeper spaces between gum and teeth and my mouth feels much cleaner.

in the bathroom, I’m not so sure a cardboard box for floss is a great idea. at first, I thought it might be fine, but truth in a bathroom, your hands are gonna get wet. for example, you might need another length of floss after you’ve used the first length but your hands might be moist from being around your mouth.the floss itself felt thin and never really did not expand to create a better scrubbing effect in between teeth and along with gum lines.rather then throw this out, I’m going to put it in the car where it’ll come in handy.overall, it’s average, so I’m gonna give it a three out of five stars.

I would highly recommend this floss. It cleans well and doesn’t bother my gum.

I don't see the "expanding" part. Pretty average floss. I'm going back to "sponge floss" for the expanding quality.

I love the Xpand floss for an extra deep clean. I also use the floss picks, but use the Xpand floss because it cleans SO thoroughly. After threading the floss through my teeth, it stretches and actually expands...it feels like a little brush cleaning in between my teeth and gums, love it! gentle and soft on my gums. My dental hygienist is a huge fan and recommends it to all of her patients!

Becauze of the wax, the floss barely starts expanding when you are almost done flossing.The GUM brand is truly expanding.

This Foss has a nice stiffness, which allows me to thread it into some flosser handles that I have McGyvered. It doesn’t usually expand between my teeth. Maybe my mouth is more dry than is required. Nevertheless, I like this floss, and I like the cardboard box that it comes in. It’s easy to pull out and cut a piece.
