The wide toebox is perfect for my wide feet and bunion issues. The boots still look brand new after several months of 14 hours/day daily wear. I'm mostly walking on concrete and haven't had any knee or hip pain I get with sneaker type boots, so the soles are doing their job absorbing impact. I will say that while they are completely waterproof, they are not breathable. My socks are not dry at the end of 14 hour days.
