Five Brothers

Totally obsessed with Five Brothers!!!This is a TOP read for me this year! EPIC story line! Perfect Character development! This book gave me all the feels! An excellent book!You know a book has you hooked when you are thinking about it when you’re not reading it and can’t get back to reading it quick enough! Well, this is that book 💯.Penelope Douglas has done an incredible job with this story! I love all the characters especially Macon and Army! I don’t want to give too much away or spoil the book for anyone!I hope Penn writes a story about each brother! They are all deserving!Nothing has topped Credence for me however this was a very close second!Well done Penn Douglas!This is a must read!

I loveeeee Macon ! I love how every brother got a chapter and my girl Kristen was very sex positive with them lol I was here for it all. I expected the book to get a little out of control with all the POVs at play but honestly I really enjoyed it. The development In the characters was really good, I enjoyed going through the growth process with all of them. This was a perfect spin off for Tryst Six Venom , however I would have like more on the other brothers I feel like we got closure for only Krisjen and Macon’s relationship , but Iron , Army ,Dallas ,and Trace’s stories still feel incomplete , they have key pieces of info I feel like we didn’t get to see and I would’ve liked that. Overall it was a good read and I can’t say that I would recommend this which is a little disappointing because I wanted to love this equally as much as I loved Tryst Six Venom but if you already read tryst six then I always say you might as well finish the story out.

I probably had a bias going into this one, because of online spoilers revealing who she'd end up with. As it always seems to happen with me reading poly-type books, the heroine inevitably ends up with the person(s) that I wasn't leaning towards being the Hero. And Five Brothers followed that same pattern for me. To me, there were connections with people who ended up not being the H, which were stronger than who it turned out to be. While reading, I was rooting for those brothers, so of course, when it was obvious in the book who would be the H, the excitement was gone for me.I am all for RH stories, and even sharing within an M/F book, so her being with multiple partners didn't bother me in the least. It was just that I felt a better connection with people she didn't end up with. The romance was lacking for me as well. Chemistry, it was there between everyone, and some of the bedroom scenes were top notch. But the love, I just didn't feel it. Honestly, I am not sure that any of the brothers deserved her, they way they treated her and spoke to her. It felt more like she just wanted to be part of the family, no matter who would take her.

Beyond captivating. Read in a day. Tension from page 1 to the last. Relentless. So good. The worst guilty pleasure.

Okayyy PENELOPE DOUGLAS , has done it again. I really enjoyed this book it was really good and spicey … I would recommend this book if you are like me and liked her other book CREDENCE !!!!

I read books quite often that bring me to tears or laughter at different points in the pages. Rarely do I read a book that I laugh and cry at the same time over the same dialogue. While I originally was confused about the subject of the book but this book beautifully tells the story of the relationship the brothers have within themselves as well as their dynamic with Krisjen (the MMC). This was a soul search prompting book. Penelope Douglas is fast becoming one of my favorite writers. Thanks to TikTok for introducing me to her talent. This isn't for the faint of heart and their are triggers - but I felt like the triggers that I reacted too were dealt with in such a way that actually helped my soul. The only thing I would like is a continuation. The epilogue left some open endings and I really want more about Iron and Dallas!

I mean what more can I say other than Penelope did it again! Just when I can’t fall in love with her more she writes this book! When I wasn’t fanning myself I was in awww of these brothers!! Such a good book with spice in all the right places!!

What a great book. Penelope Douglas never disappoints that’s for sure.

An original storyline that kept me engaged the whole way through from cover to cover.This is only the second book I've read by this author and it won't be the last as she has definitely become a favourite!It contains every emotion possible and has plenty of spice too.Plus it has my favourite ending.... a HEA! ❤️On to the next!

Cumplió con las expectativas que tenía, Penélope Douglas es una autora que siempre leo con confianza, no me leí el libro anterior de este universo pero creo que no me hizo falta para entender la trama. Lo recomiendo como lectura de verano para lxs que disfrutamos del género.
