My human got me this Carhartt Nylon Duck No Pull Dog Harness, and it’s absolutely paw-some! Here’s why I’m wagging my fluffy tail about it: This harness is super tough, perfect for a playful pup like me. It’s made with 600-denier CORDURA® Ripstop that stands up to my romps through muddy fields and wild backyard adventures. The Rain Defender® water-repellent coating is a total win—water just slides off, keeping me comfy even when I dive into a wet adventure. No soggy Golden vibes here! The fit is spot-on for my growing Golden bod. It’s fully adjustable, so my human tailored it perfectly to my chest and tummy. The spacer mesh backer keeps me cool when I’m bounding after my favorite ball, and the yoke-style design lets my legs move freely for epic zoomies. The Martingale chest strap gently nudges me to chill on the pulling—okay, human, I’ll try to walk nicely. It’s really helped me be less of a tugboat, and my human says walks are way more fun now. The handle on the back? It’s like my personal elevator! When I’m feeling lazy about jumping into the car (I’m only 1, cut me some slack), my human grabs the sturdy handle and lifts me right up. One of the best harnesses I’ve purchased for my 60 lb Labrador Retriever. She’s very active and picky about having things on her. It’s held up great to dirt and hair. The clasps are solid, and she is definitely a puller. Fairly easy to put on, as it’s one clasp to clip. The only drawback is she doesn’t like things over her head, which there’s not a way to get around that. True to size measurements. Good value for the money. Thick hardy exterior and soft inner shell. Looks great on her too!

This harness is better than one I tried that had a different design. I tried a different harness (Brand X) because my dog pulls a lot. The other harness helped some, but the Carhartt harness is better for controlling pulling. The top part of the Carhartt harness is thicker and more substantial that the Brand X harness. The Brand X harness was a flimsier material. When my dog pulled, it would bunch up on top. The Brand X harness had three buckles; the Carhartt harness has only one buckle, so it’s easier to put on and take off. To put it on, you slip it over the dog’s head and then buckle the strap that goes around the chest. The Carhartt harness design is simpler, and it works well. The front hook seems to reduce pulling even better than the rear hook, though the straps bunch up a bit if the dog turns its head. The chest strap is thick and strong. All in all, this is a sturdy, well designed harness that works. It really helps lessen pulling. Now if my dog sees a squirrel, all bets are off, regardless of what harness is used.

Life changing!!! First walk and it was magical. No pulling. The dog understood immediately how the harness operated and he adjusted with no problem. It’s extremely well made. I think the material will last a long time. It has a lot more features and details than I realized. Fit was perfect (XL) for my pit. I don’t think there’s anyway he can escape from it either.

Now me and my dog have matching coats. Well made and fits perfect. My huge 100lb Red Heeler mix has a 26” neck that’s twice the size of his head. This one can’t slip off!

So I bought a medium for my 9 week old German shepherd mix, she's 13lbs for reference. Medium was too big by like 5 inches, even at its smallest. I know she'll grow, but I just love the look of this harness so much I exchanged it for a small. It's first her perfect! She has so much room to grow in it and eventually we'll move into a medium. I looked at the size chart and basically the small is as big as the medium at its smallest plus 1 inch. She also seems to be walking great in it!! For size reference the shoe is F9 lol

Harness is well made with good materials. Stitching is good and looks like it should last some time. Biggest positive is super easy to put on and adjust sizing. My dog is an 80 lb GS type mutt and this harness helps with control when the rabbits show up. Only negative is harness doesn't stay straight on his back and rotates about 45 degrees either way unless my dog is walking straight. I believe this is a design issue as harness does not have a front breast piece only straps. I am still able to control my dog, but it looks a bit weird being off center.

If you have a miniature dachshund, this product ended up fitting perfectly. The size guide suggests 15lbs for the smallest but it fits PERFECTLY I think due to dachshunds deeper chests. High quality and lightweight
