Bought it as a present for my parents. They love it. It looks good next to their new fireplace!

While this isn't necessarily the best out there, it was the best for me. I ordered a different set from the same company and it came all dinged up (paint chipped off) on nearly every piece, so I did not have a lot of confidence. I returned that set and paid a little more or less for this set and am super pleased with it. I have only had one fire in the fireplace since purchasing...but it is attractive and fits the areas nicely. I have two fireplaces, so I bought another set for the other fireplace too.

The look is awesome. Good value. The only negative is I thought I ordered it in brass and it came with a black finish instead. No biggie tho.

These are not the old and ugly fireplace tools I remember from years back. This set is so pretty and very useful, too. The tongs are something I didn’t have in the past, but I use these often to lift and move red hot logs. The set has a very pretty wort iron black design. They go very well with my fireplace. The rack holds tools on both sides, which makes them easier to use. The pieces stay in place and don’t fall off the stand. The black iron is sturdy and has designs that are modern. The legs of the stand are stable, supporting the tools both while hanging and when pulling them off. I imagine these will last for years.Very nice design, functioning fireplace tools with a sturdy stand. The color of black means it doesn’t show any fire scale from using in the hot fire. One never knows how sturdy things like this will be until you’ve used them. After about 8 times of use, I realize these will last for a very long time. That makes the slightly higher price not upsetting at all. I never mind a slightly more expensive purchase IF it means much higher quality, which is the way this fireplace tools set is!

My fireplace is not a huge, heavy hearth, so I wanted fireplace tools that had elegance, a touch of modern, but were minimal. This set fits that role.I was actually surprized by the set, the pieces have some weight. The broom is not very big (that disappointed me), however, the tools overall seem able to withstand some use in the fireplace. This set seems like it will be able to handle moving the logs around, poking, and even picking up the ash for a small fireplace. The modern styling with a touch of vintage looks very nice near the fireplace.Assembly took about 15 minutes; not bad at all.
