Other users say it gets hot. I thought that was the whole point. Easy to use, good price.

I do like this product but it does get quite hot so try to keep it if a sink or something when cooling down so it doesn’t burn anything because I put it on my heat mat and it still left a burn mark but the curler itself it good

Great little curler. Works really well and very easy to use- my hair looks really nice with this. Has a little stand which is really useful.

I am enjoying this curly tong, it gets hot easily. It's just one setting, so be mindful. Overall it does the job

It's nice but gets way too hot, it would be much better if it had lower temperatures as even with a good heat spray on I'm still worried about damage to my hair especially the ends. It works well, heating up very quickly and curling my thick, wavy hair well. I was able to get beachy waves which is what I brought it for. It would also have been good if a best resistant gloves had also been included as I burnt my fingers a couple of times while using it. It's a decent curling tongs but it couldn't been so much better, if you don't mind the lack of heat levels, it's great. If you do, I would advise caution before buying it.

Purchased in July this year. This morning, 23rd August 2024, the handset exploded, flashed, sparked and cut out our downstairs plug circuits. When I first started to use these, immediately after purchase, I found that the tongs were extremely hot but got around it by only leaving them in my hair for a few seconds. This morning I plugged them in as usual and rested the tongs on the arm of my chair whilst they warmed up. A few seconds later there was a very loud poof, a large flash and sparks coming from the handset. Two seconds later these tongs would have been wrapped around my hair and close to my skin, at which time I would have received a very nasty burn on my head, side of my head and on my hand, possibly needing surgery, it might even have damaged my skull. I was able to reset the mains socket circuit and all other equipment continued to operate as normal. I must add that I have been using the clippers of this brand on my dog for several years and have had no problems whatsoever with them. They are rechargeable via a mains socket but detached from the mains when in use. However, I cannot recommend these tongs as they are extremely dangerous.
