Emulates but could NEVER replace.
Very simple mechanics but it does do the job of making decisions when a GM doesn't want to. It all revolves around the single 'Fate table'. Which gives a one roll result as to the likelihood of anything asked by the players being possible. The only requirement being that those questions be 'logical' and pertinent to the situation. It's a great 'on the fly' tool for winging it when you are put on the spot. The layout is a big here and there and the 'artwork' is WELL dodgy! But once you've got a grasp of how to use it you'll only be using the fate table. I'd say it was worth the money just for the inspiration.

Great simulator
It's a really clever way of solo roleplaying and getting the creative juices flowing.

Only a fair attempt at a procedural adventure emulator
If you can answer the first question needed to start using this book, you will not need to own this book.My fault for expecting something far more and being disappointed by what arrived. Artwork is poor, primary tables too small.Only buy if you have money to spare and no idea as to how to put a simple adventure together to be honest
