Loudest frame I've ever had!
I bought this frame because it was the cheapest I could find and was well suited for a foam mattress. Setup was easy and I liked that it had the adapters for my headboard. I had no interest in the skirt, but my kittens have decided it's their super-secret kitten cave, so I guess that's nice.It is more wobbly than I expected. I also bought this one since there were so many reviews saying that it was quiet. It was, for about two weeks. Amazon reviewers seem to have a habit of reviewing things immediately after they receive something, which results in a lot of rave reviews of barely tried products. After the two weeks it started creaking, and now it sounds about 30 years old, I can't even turn over without hearing the frame protest. I guess it might be good for a barely-used guest room?

if you go foam, a nice way to go.
we have a nice, thick memory foam mattress and wanted to get rid of basic (read cheap) bed support and box spring. for a variety of reasons this fit the bill- easy to assemble , lightweight and moveable, and not very expensive. this outperforms its pricepoint by a wide margin- hard to believe something so light could feel so solid underneath. we now have 12 points of contact to the floor instead of the old 4. our dogs love the new found space underneath and an upgraded skirt completes the picture. i'm sure the skirt that comes with it would be fine, but we wanted a colored one(it can be the back-up if the one we purchased doesn't last). the only reason i deducted one star is for the headboard mounting hardware- the metal pieces attach easily and simply to the frame- no problem there. when you go to attach the headboard to those pieces the enclosed hardware was absurdly difficult. they enclose long bolts with a rounded end which goes through the headboard towards the inside of the frame. on the inside end you thread on a gasket-lined nut to tighten it all together. the problem is , the rounded outside end sits flush against the headboard and the nut hits the gasket and requires pliers or a wrench to turn it, except the bolt turns with it and having a flush round end there is no way to keep it from spinning. solved this by getting my own bolts with a phillips end to keep it from spinning. hope you get what i'm trying to describe- other than that annoyance, this is a fine platform that should last many years. oh yes, no squeeks or noise at all!

Never buying another box spring!
This is an excellent alternative to a box spring. My mattress originally came with a box spring, but would not fit in the last apartment that I moved into, so I got rid of it and switched to an Ikea bed with slats. Unfortunately, the slats didn't hold up under our weight (combined 500-sih lb., plus the 105-lb dog if he decides to sleep at the bottom of the bed). I didn't want to purchase a new box spring in case it didn't fit in a next apartment, but found this alternative through a little research online. The Night Therapy platform costs about the same as a box spring WITH delivery in our local area (Twin Cities - MN). It arrived in two boxes - the first with the platform, the second with the materials needed to connect a headboard/footboard. The hardest part of putting the bed together was taking the box upstairs, which I did by myself (read: I need to do some weight lifting). The bed came together in about 15 minutes, maybe less. It was incredibly simple and I am certain I will have no problem taking it apart if I move again.A few folks have voiced concerns about needing something to grip the mattress to keep it from sliding around; that has not been an issue for us. I CAN move the bed off of the frame pretty easily if I choose to by pushing on the side of the mattress, but it doesn't really move around when we are on the mattress. The bed feels incredible secure and comfortable, and there is plenty of room below the frame for storage (everything that I had below the Ikea bed fits below this frame). If I ever end up buying additional mattresses for other rooms in future homes, I plan to buy this platform for those mattresses. I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

I found a great headboard and then was looking at all the options ...
I was on the hunt for a queen bed set for a guest room for some time when I came to the conclusion that I would instead purchase a decent set of bed rails and a separate headboard. I found a great headboard and then was looking at all the options for bed rails and box springs. Then I came across this product. It was a great combination of bed rails/box springs (which wouldn't otherwise be required) and what I needed to attach to my new headboard. There are other similar products on the market but I was impressed that this came ready with all the hardware brackets to attach to the headboard which many did not.The setup of this product was amazingly easy. Taking it out of the box, it comes in two sections. The legs fold right down and lock in with a wingnut screw and then the two sections join together with two other wingnut screws. Each section has a front, back and middle set of legs supporting the frame which is much more sturdy than a standard set of rails. All assembly can be completed by hand in under 5 minutes. The headboard brackets require a screwdriver and have a hexnut so a set of pliers or something is handy but, again, very easy and quick. After setup, it looks amazingly sturdy. We dropped the bed skirt onto the frame and the mattress on top of that and we were all set.The bedskirt is thin and white and not particularly exciting, however it does the trick which is to cover up the legs of the bed and hide away anything underneath.Price wise, this is very competitive, especially including the headboard brackets (other products sell these separately, which causes some frustration) and the bedskirt.
