This stops my stink. I’m a middle aged woman, and since hitting my mid 40s I have developed BO that comes on strong. I went from using women’s deodorant to men’s natural-ish deodorant to men’s extra strength deodorant and by mid day I smell like an adolescent: like BO lightly veiled by synthetic fragrance. I have purchased drug store priced deodorant to Whole Foods priced deodorant and nothing last a full day for me. I’m not in a super hot place geographically, my job doesn’t require strenuous physical activity, so by rights man-strength deodorant should work. It doesn’t. I purchased AKT (white tube/thunderstorm scent) because I was influenced and ready to try something new for my issue. The ads kept popping up in my insta feed and I decided to try AKT fully expecting it to be disappointing. IT IS THE ONLY deodorant that had worked beyond 24 hours for me. I bought my full size tube over a month ago and I’m not even halfway done with it yet. It works so well! A little goes a long way too! I squeeze out a pea sized amount for each pit, rub it in with my fingers and I’m done for the day. Really. The whole day! Other reviews have said that the tube splits, the contents dry up, the smell is overpowering. None of these things have happened to me. It took some time to get used to the scent I chose, but it’s not a fake smelling scent that you find in typical deodorants. It’s intense when you first put it on, but mellows out. I have had less residue left behind on my clothing too. I have not seen yellow stains on my white shirts either. I apply it with my fingers (no applicator for me) and it works well on both smooth and hairy pits. I don’t feel dampness in my pits or sticky sliminess that would come from typical deodorants. I bought a tube key (a few bucks on amazon) to help roll the tube. My one and only gripe is that the screw on cap is tiny. If you have finger dexterity issues, this might be a challenge. In warmer weather there was an oily leak from the tube (less of a leak, more like seepage), but since the temps have cooled this isn’t an issue. Thank you for making a product that actually works for perimenopausal women.

I kept seeing ads for AKT deodorant, and after reading reviews, I was a little skeptical, but also intrigued. So I got a sampler pack, and decided that I liked this one so much I'd buy the big tube. Then my husband tried it, and now it's all we both use! First the scent: I don't usually use anything scented, so it was an adjustment to start using this. It is a very unique scent, and you are either going to love it or hate it. I love it! (Some of their other scents are nice, and some are a big thumbs down.) Second, the application - you squeeze a pea-sized blob on your finger, and then split that in half and rub it under your arms with your fingers and hands. Some people may not like doing that, but it doesn't bother me at all, so I'd say thumbs up on the ease of application, and I like that I'm not paying for a big plastic applicator that's going into a landfill. Some have complained that the texture is a little gritty, but again, it's a matter of taste, and it doesn't bother me at all - some of the scents are grittier, or thicker and harder to squeeze out of the tube - I highly recommend, if you end up using this, that you spring for the nice key they offer that makes it easy to squeeze every bit out of the tube. Now the most important part. IT WORKS! I go through phases where sometimes I hardly have any underarm odor at all, and then suddenly it's pretty bad for a while. This deodorant prevents B.O. and keeps it away. Working from home, and at the advice of a dermatologist because of dry skin, I sometimes don't need to shower every single day, and AKT lasts - I can go two days without reapplying without worrying. So even though it seems a little pricey, one tube lasts two of us a looooong time, so in the end it's way cheaper than most other brands! I love that there is no aluminum in the ingredients, too. Many deodorants burn my sensitive skin, but this hasn't bothered me at all. Bottom line: Works great, smells great, price (in the long run) is great.

Love this so much. | It has helped me enormously. The smell is wonderful. This one smells like a freshly cut Christmas tree. It's so good. And it lasts. It's effectiveness lasts for a couple days on me. And I was having a real problem with that as I have aged. It was never an issue in my younger days. I had tried several non aluminum brands that just were not helping much at all. So I am thrilled to find this. It will kind of flake a bit shortly after applying like any powder deodorant does. Because this has Diatomaceous earth powder in it and that is the bacteria killer. And It works! Naturally. I love the little tube with a key. The key works perfectly. Just Fits the tube. Cap is tiny but not a problem for me. Only takes a tiny bit so it ought to last a long time. Justifies the expense. I can't wait to try other fragrances. I have finally found my favorite deodorant. Please don't ever stop making this! Highly recommend. Smells like a fresh fir Christmas tree, but I like it. It's the good kind.

This goes on like regular lotion and is hands down the best natural deodorant! No stains, no stinky arm pits and lasts ALL day for me. I can be sweating, working outside and still feel clean, comfortable and confident. It was a struggle finding a product that was natural that would mask my b.o. I bought all brands and it was horrible, my sister can contest to that; stinky!! This is my second purchase and I have no complaints other than the packaging. Towards the end of the tube I had to cut it open to get about a week’s worth of product still trapped inside. I did buy the key to help squeeze the tube but it still doesn’t give you that remaining bit without having to cut the tube. The tube is made with a material that is sharp when cut so it was a bit difficult at the end to get all the product. Bought the Amber Violet Tonka Bean. 5 Star if not for having to cut the tube.

It's only been my second day and it works great. It smells a little weird at first applying but it dissipates to nothing no scent. Honestly, the packaging I can deal with as long as the product works which matters the most. I do have to try in summer or after a workout to see how effective it is. So far I like it. Once it's on it feels great and not itching. Will update as I use more. But I love it so far.

I produce a prodigious amount of sweat and have to re-apply drugstore deodorant multiple times of day. AKT lasts all day and doesn't bother my sensitive skin the way anti-perspirants with aluminum do. Whatever is in this dries very fast and has yet to stain my clothes or even leave a temporary white streak. I've put this through some serious tests - from a summertime outdoor funeral wearing a full suit and tie in Houston heat and humidity to a month trekking through tropical jungles in the south pacific. This has kept me smell-free through all of it - even on a 30 hour travel day with three layovers, a sprint through Denver airport, two 10 hour flights, customs and immigration lines all on a single application. As to value - this stuff is expensive, however, smelling bad can cost you too. This does not help with the amount of sweat, it just keeps it from stinking. I find the eucalyptus smell lasts about twelve hours, but the bacteria killing nature of the deodorant keeps working longer. A tube lasts me about two months, so I guess I'm paying $180/year to not stink, or about fifty cents per day. Seems like a bargain when you think of it that way.

This is literally the best deodorant I’ve ever used. I got the unscented to try first and am stoked to try the scented versions. The lack of a thousand stars is purely for the packaging, which I’ll get to in a moment. I live in Texas and this stuff not only keeps me from physically sweating, there’s not even the faintest whisper of odor at the end of the day. I’ve tested it out in scenarios that my other deodorants would always fail, and it still succeeds. I always thoroughly wash my underarms before applying deodorant, and sometimes even use an AHA toner wipe prior to applying deodorant… and my other deodorants would still inevitably fail on some days or when wearing certain clothing. But this stuff, this I’ve applied to my armpits the next morning without showering or prepping (which is unheard of for me), just a schmear and out the door. And I’m still golden at the end of the day. I’ve worn it with the perma-stink tight shirt (you know the one: it’s fresh and thoroughly clean washed with enzyme cleaner, but it gets “activated” after it comes in contact with your body heat for a few hours), and I still smell fresh at the end of the day. I wore this while moving into a new home: nada. I was sweating a bit, but *zero* odor. My armpits were fresh. It’s wild. For reference: I typically use Necessaire roll-on (unscented or eucalyptus) or Kosas (all 3 versions). I liked both brands but they both made me physically sweat more, like profusely, more than if I wasn’t wearing deodorant (even if I allowed them to dry fully before getting dressed), and sometimes towards the end of the evening I’d have a little funk. Prior to that when Lume came out, I was all about it, but after they discontinued the jasmine scent that worked for my body, all of the other fragrances did not mix kindly with my body. And it was a potentently, unpleasant situation. I’ve tried them all as they say, the drugstore brands (dove, etc), natural brands (Tom’s, Native, etc), the boutique brands like (bumble & bee), the more luxe brands (Necessaire, Salt + Stone, etc), the subscription ones like Myro. Many homemade recipes, etc. Buy AKT is just a truly stellar formula. Minus stars for the packaging: the packaging in theory is perfect (all metal tube 🙌🏼 which is part of the reason for my purchase), however it’s super faulty. I used it three days in a row just fine, but on each subsequent day it became more difficult to squeeze anything out, until ultimately *nothing* came out. At least not from the mouth piece - it exploded out of the seam. Trying to contact the seller for a replacement. Hopefully it’s a fluke and not the norm, because this tuff is dreamy.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because my most recent order was sent to me opened and used, which is highly upsetting. The seal was broken, there was a visible dent where the tube had been squeezed, and a noticeable amount of product was missing. I’ve heard Amazon has been sending out used product so I don’t know if this is a seller issue or manufacturer issue. The quality of the product itself is fantastic. Hands down, the best natural deodorant I’ve ever tried. It still allows you to sweat but I do not smell at all. Once you get toward the end of the tube, it is hard to get all of the product out without the key. I didn’t purchase one because it was hard to justify $40+ for deodorant but I can see how the key would be useful. So far, after thunder is my favorite scent, I’d like to try the orange one next time but am hesitant to repurchase because of what happened with my last order. I reached out to the seller and they never responded.
