These House Day velvet-coated wardrobe hangers are really great value - you get 60 for less than £24 - 4p each! You can never have too many hangers and these, with the velvet covering are excellent at holding onto your clothing - no more annoying discoveries in the bottom of the wardrobe where a blouse has slipped off a smooth plastic hanger! They are just great and I've replaced every one of my originals with lots of spare - makes the wardrobe a whole lot tidier as well.Couldn't be more pleased. Great value.

Definitely non slip. It makes putting clothes on a bit more challenging as they don't just glide. They genuinely stick to the material. Holds well and no issues. Wheres normal hangers my items would fall off repeatedly

These hangers are well made and robust. The velvet covering can hold clothes properly without slipping. They are not thick which is good for saving space. The price is not bad for 60 hangers. Good value for your new wardrobe!

The media could not be loaded.  For years now I have used plastic hangers, ugly, slippy and prone to deforming if any weight is placed upon them.These were offered to me free for review so I thought why not, one can't have too many hangers.And I love them, shirts stay put without sliding off, as do trousers, no deformation if I dare to hang a pair of jeans, and the icing on the cake, my wife has claimed 90% of them for herself, as she's a fashionista that is praise indeed.Now all I need to do is find somewhere to recycle my ugly old plastic ones, velvet is my future.

I’m changing out all of the hangers in my closet. These are slim but sturdy. Love the uniform look of all the same hangers. Update: on hanger broke already. I had a light weight sweater hanging on it. I hope durability won’t be an issue.

I swapped standard white plastic hangers for these (we already standardized on one hanger for the entire house - so this was an unnecessary upgrade but I like them so much better).These do break (with heavy jacket or bulky hoodie sweatshirt) but are much more sturdy. I was breaking the plastic ones with my jacket - at least 1-2 month and have only broken 2 of these in many months.One of the best thing is the little metal hanging part takes up a lot less space on the bar and also swivels around so the clothes are facing the correct direction without paying attention to how they go on the hanger.If you are taking the time to spring clean the closet and to get rid of old/improper sized clothes bite the bullet and purchase these. The end result will be an upgrade to appreciate every time you get ready as well as when you do the laundry.
