aPHR Associate Professional in Human Resources Certification All-in-One Exam Guide 1st Edition

I used this book as my primary study method for the aPHR exam. I took, and passed, the exam this morning. There are numerous obvious errors in this book as previous reviewers noted; however, it is still a great source of material that will be presented on the exam. I read this book twice and answered all the review questions (along with the questions in the companion practice exam book, which can be purchased here on Amazon in the bundle or separately) over the course of three months. Unfortunately, the included CDs are useless on a Mac. Nevertheless, five stars as the book served its intended purpose. Get this book and pass the exam. Good luck!

I used this book as my primary study source for the aPHR and passed the exam. This book has lots of great info, especially with how it goes over the employment laws that you’ll need to know! HOWEVER, I used the Practice Exams companion to this, and I highly suggest that you do as well. The practice exams in this book only review what’s covered in the chapters. The Praxtice Exams companion has a whole different set of much more challenging questions (with the answers explained), so you really need to use both if you want the full spectrum of knowledge. But, again, I used these pretty much exclusively for my studying, and easily passed the exam. You can too!

I cannot be more thankful for this very useful resource and the practice exams of the same Publisher. I used them as my main study guides (98%) and passed the aPHR exam on the 1st try (October 2019); they are very easy to read and to understand and cover almost everything you need to know to pass the exam. As other people have already mentioned, yes, there are some minor mistakes, but nothing to worry about and prevent you from using these guides. I also used, supplementarily, the relevant book from Test Prep Books. Highly recommend all these books.

This took FOREVER to get here but it’s not a bad book. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the wait time. I’m not mad about the information in it. If it’s not enough for you then pair it with some quizlet flash cards and you’ll be golden.

I purchased the additional $299 study bundle option when I signed up to take the exam. Since the study bundle is mainly online I wanted a hard copy book to reference. I purchased this one based on reviews. After studying both sources this book is very similar to the $299 bundle they offer. Even some of the practice questions are the same. If you are getting ready to take the exam or need a good reference I recommend this book.

This book was everything I needed to pass my aPHR on the first try. I coupled it with a YouTube study guide that I listened to while driving, doing chores and at work for reinforcement - and it turned out to be the greatest combination. This book actually has everything you need for the aPHR exam.

Get this All-in-One Exam Guide for your study and preparation efforts for the aPHR exam. It's a full coverage guide of all areas of HR and is easy to read and follow. This and the Practice Exams book (sold separately) were the sole source of my studying. I did supplement it with Quizlet flashcards and tests and I also downloaded an aPHR app for daily mock quizzes during the last couple of weeks prior to my test today. Excellent Purchase!
