I have a multiple cat household & have tried just about every cat litter on the market. I have allergies and most cat litter really make them worse - the scents are too strong & they are really dusty. This litter is almost dust free. I know pretty much all cat litter manufacturers say that, but this is the only one that I would consider virtually dust free. The other "dust free litters leave a dust cloud in my house! I am very sensitive to litter dust & this is the only litter that doesnt bother me. Even though this litter says it is scented I dont notice any fragrance even when I am pouring it into the box - which is great for me because I am sensitive to fragrances. This litter clumps extreamly hard making it last longer than other brands because you can scoop out all of the soiled spots. It controls odor very well without masking odor with heavy fragrance. The only complaint I have is that it clumps so hard that the clumps sometimes stick to the box if cats urinate quite a bit along the side or corner of the box. I never had any problems with that until the past year or so. I have 3 elderly kitties, one has CKD and one has diabetes (both are being treated/managed & frequently see their vet) but they do urinate more than they used to & usually both go in one corner of the litterbox. Those larger litter clumps stick to the box. I have found sprinkling a little baking soda on the bottom of the box before adding litter keeps the urine clumps from sticking to the box & makes scooping easier. But if you dont have cats with health problems that cause more urine output & you scoop the box regularly you probably wont have that problem anyway.

This stuff is amazing! We have 7 indoor cats and this litter works wonders. Doesn't stick in their paw pads, very little dust, clumps well and keeps the smell of CAT to a minimum. Would give 5 stars but I can't get it anymore. I keep getting a red letter message that it can't be delivered to my address anymore (I've seen the out of stock message too). Yet I can get any of the other variations.

Hands down never going back to any litter. It's the best. It's coarser so it doesn't track as much as others. Doesn't get inhaled as much so it's better for all of our lungs. There is NO SCENT that I can tell however a slight scent gets activated after a cat pees. So that's really nice, very soft light slightly sweet, powdery scent. It has great odor control even for my boy and he has STRONG MANLY urine odor. With my girl I can't even smell it. I hate litters that smell like fwvreeze chemicals like wtf cats don't like that lol! Anyway... My cats like it and don't have a problem with it. My cats LOVE "cat attract" from this brand but it's pricier. If u have a cat that marks etc that litter will make them fall in love lol. I found my guy literally LAYING IN THE LITTER BOX when I did a fresh litter change. This speaks volumes... to note there is NO perfect cat litter. My only negative is that it often sticks to litter pan however clumps are hard. That is a price I am willing to pay. I love Dr elseys quality products :)

It's super thick. The litter is just about the non scoop-able litter. When cleaning the cat box, it's so think it takes forever to get just the cats' doo-dee's out. It does clump kinda ok. It is hard to scoop the clump of cat pee out of the box when it sticks to the box like cement from the litter bonding to the box. Then, It will break apart, leaving a bunch of cat pee litter clumps all over the box, and you just end up dumping the whole box, and for that, just buy the non scoopable litter in1st place. I have 3 cats. And 3 cat boxes. The litter didn't help with the cat odor smells. So I'm just back to finding a new litter. Again. And having to scoop or dump the box 3xs to 4xs a day. Instead of 1 or 2xs. If you have 1 cat. This litter might be ok for you. Remember, other people's opinions don't matter. It's what you think of the product yourself.

I have been looking for a great cat litter for a long time and the hunt has been going on for a while, I can honestly say that I think I have found my litter! Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter, is the best cat litter I have ever found. The litter clumps exceptionally well and as long as you are cleaning one a regular basis, there should be no issues with it being too hard to scoop (I noticed other reviews, mentioned concern regarding this), I have a cat that uses the very edge of the box and I have no issues. I think many people are confused by the "ultra scented" name, upon putting this litter in the litter box, I did not notice any smell. Upon research I discovered that the litter only releases scent when they cat uses it, this is great, because now my house does not smell of cat litter, and I can honestly say it really covers any bathroom smells, this is far better than any other cat litter I have ever used. Cleaning the box, is super easy, it just slides out and ok I did have to scrape a little, but it was super simple and really took no effort. As I said previously, I have used every litter available and this is truly the best litter that I have ever used, my only complaint regarding this product was the shipping, one box was delivered in a strong sturdy box (no issues), the other was delivered in a regular box, the litter had a hole in it (due to poor packing) and half of it was missing. Amazon were amazing and replaced the item immediately. This is a great product and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

I've owned cats for over 40 years now, and believe me, doing the litter box is my least favorite thing in the world. If there was a way to train my little fur babies to clean up after themselves, I would be the first to sign them up for that kitty course! But, alas... there is no such thing... and cats being the independently aloof creatures that they are they'd probably still have me doing their dirty work while they supervise. Every brand of cat litter I've tried has always fallen short in many areas. I'm usually stuck with a room that smells worse than a full porta-potty after the first day, and my tile floors are covered in sand to where I could just about build a sand castle! Cleaning the box had always been a hassle as well because even though a brand would advertise that it's a clumping litter, those darn little things would break apart right in the scooper! Then I tried Dr. Elsey's. It was like a whole new experience. My kitties watched in anticipation... because you know that the moment you change their litter they suddenly have to do their business. Well, it was a miracle! I still have my two little, black puff balls, BUT you can no longer smell the aroma of poo-poo with a touch of caa-caa! Even after a few days!! Also, my little guys are "diggers" when it comes to their litter ... I mean, they're trying to find a way China with how deep they dig for fheir deposits! And then, of course, they have to turn around and bury little treasures. The thing is, with all of this excavation activity, they NO LONGER get the sand in their paws, thus creating a beach in my room. Finally, and surprisingly, this stuff CLUMPS into hard round balls that mysteriously make their way to the top layer of the litter box making cleaning up a breeze. The only thing that is even a remote negative is that I chose to buy a 40lb box... so it is heavy (I didn't get a lightweight litter) ... and I would recommend that you get a heavy duty "pooper scooper" especially if your fur babies pee as much as mine do.

I used tidy cats litter for years. Noticed lately quality went down hill. It’s falling apart and not clumping at all , making my house smell bad and dumping litter after a week of use got really expensive. I bought a bag of this litter based on reviews and I’m really glad we found something that works good!! First thing i noticed my cats are using box with this litter a lot more than other brand. And i mean a lot a lot more. Scooping it was a breeze. Barely any crumbs fall off when you do it. There is no scent to it and it traps all the bad smell really good to the point where you can’t smell it at all. I’ve seen some videos and reviews saying how this litter sticks to the bottom and it feel like cement but you can see in that video that box hasn’t been cleaned in days and was pretty low on clean litter. We clean ours twice a day and keep it pretty full so there is no issues. We have 15 rescues and it’s a lot of work to keep the house smell good but this litter makes it a lot easier and not to mention money that will be saved by being able to use the same litter for the longer time. Definitely a good product.

Outstanding cat litter, no bad odour, little or no dust (my wife is very impressed) and clumps very well. Works very well with the Neakasa M1 cat litter box. I would highly recommend this product.

Precious Cat Elsey's Ultra Scented Cat Litter is top-notch in quality. Its outstanding odor control and superior clumping power are truly unmatched. While the price is a tad on the higher side, it's well worth every penny. I sometimes mix it with other products to make it last longer, but its performance remains unbeatable. Highly recommended!
