Best investment I’ve made in running, ever!
I’m not a big reviewer but this product is hands down the best investment I’ve made in running with my dog. I had some hamstring and hip issues for a while and it took me years to realize it was probably because I was holding my favorite running partner’s leash in the same hand for years! This running belt has not only helped heal my pain while still enjoying my favorite hobby but it also gave my dog so much more freedom, mobility and safety! If you run with a dog, you need this. It is worth every penny.

Tricky to get on, but great!
It takes a few tries to get the belt on right, but once you have it on, it's very comfortable. My dog is a puller when she's on a harness and this is great for running with her. Much better than a belt around your waist. When she yanks, she has to pull me, and doesn't yank my lower back. It is comfortable and doesn't slip or move. The straps between your legs are pretty good, even with chub-rub thighs like mine! The pocket in the back is pretty useless. It's small and the flap is in an awkward position to put anything in while you are wearing the belt. Made from good quality materials. I would highly recommend if you run with your dog.

10/10 would recommend!
I’ve been running with my border collies for years, usually just holding the leash on my hand. I’ve tried waist belts before with the elastic/umbilical leashes and it was always sort of meh because we run on the road so I’d always sort of be pulled sideways from my belly button area (slightly too high for my center of gravity). I figured I’d try the fremotion canicross belt and return it if it was more of the same and I could not be more pleased. The sizing was right on, there’s plenty of room for adjustment, the straps and buckles all seem quite high quality. The pouch could be just a touch bigger (my iPhone pro max in a slim case does not fit easily at all). I was worried that the leg straps might pinch or feel strange, but everything was able to be adjusted to fit just right. The key difference for me is that this allows my dog to pull me from my hips rather than my waist or at my shoulder, meaning that I am propelled forward smoothly and don’t have to fight to balance! Plus, because of how the leash connects on the front and can swivel to either side, the pulling came from a much more centered point even though my dog runs on the left shoulder of the road and I’m more on the pavement of the road. We had such an amazing, FAST run together our first go with it!I do think I will always need leggings or a longer/tight short to avoid the legs bunching up under the harness. We have a fremotion dog harness coming (the first one I ordered was too big for him) and I can’t wait to see the difference I’m sure it will make for him.

Works great
I have been using mine for months now. I wanted to wait to add a review to make sure it stood the test of time. I have a 40lb Border Collie and I use a bungee leash to attach to the CaniX belt. It works great to distribute the weight along my rear, rather than my back, if he pulls.

pretty good butt harness, a couple cons
I just got this package and went on my first run with it. My initial impressions are that it was an improvement to the run with my pup. I previously ran with a simple 1" wide canvas strap with a carabiner connected to a normal flat leash. This worked well enough but I wanted to try some more specialized gear for runs with my pup. that strap worked well enough and i never really had problems with it putting pressure on my back, and the carabiner was able to slide around as my pup pulled in different directions. what i had hoped this would help with is the band riding up. That is what it is good at, the band stayed lower on me with the under leg straps. the under leg straps were actually completely unnoticeable on my run which was one thing i was worried about.three things i didnt like - **granted this has only been used on one run so far**- the band seemed to go down. i felt like the back butt strap was actually falling too far down. this will probably fixed as i get familiar with the straps and adjusting the fitting better. second thing is the bounce on the pull, for some reason with the strap lower on my body, when my dog runs i feel a lot more feedback when she pulls. it feels like i almost /need/ to have an elastic leash now. previously i didnt notice so much jerking, i noticed this almost instantly when we were moving. it probably has something to do with the lower pull and how its tugging your butt along rather than your waist. i did end up buying the elastic leash so hopefully this fixes that. the last point is the pocket, i bought this one specifically for that since i wanted to carry my phone so i could call for help if i needed. well, this pocket is super small. i feel like it would have been better to have been located on the top strap and much larger to be able to hold a modern phone at least. i would really only feel comfortable carrying like an ID or something in this.so summary, it fixed one problem(band raising up) but introduced two more which are perhaps resolved by experience and more equipment lol. overall i like this butt harness and look forward to using it more.EDIT - SECOND RUN - Ok, so I ran my second run with this belt harness along with my dogs new freemotion harness and elastic leash, since they arrived now. While i still have some more learning to do to understand how best to wear the belt, having all three significantly changed the running experience with my dog. Imagine youre riding a bike with cement wheels. running with this belt, the elastic leash, and the dog harness changed the experience like i updated the cement wheel bike to an olympic racing bike. the belt seemed to still ride lower and felt like it was sinking, it might be due to me trying to have my coat tucked under the belt and needing to have the top strap tightened more. more learning to do but this is turning out to be a great investment.now a disclaimer - my dog is trained. even before i ran with this harness with her i ran and taught her directional commands while we were running. this is important when running with this gear. with the elastic leash ive found i need to be a bit more vocal with her and think ahead so that she knows well ahead of time which way we are going as there is less direct feedback compared with the static leash.

Cani x running harness
Love this game changer harness!! I can’t say enough about it. My dog acts like he is pulling a sled when we run and was killing my back. Almost had to stop running with my buddy. This completely changed everything. I feel no strain on my back and it allows him to move side to side without pulling me. Perfect!!
