Fun and confusing
I enjoyed the project. The kit didn’t come with glue. No big deal. The instructions could be a little confusing at certain stages. I had several spare parts and I’m not sure why. Wayyyy too much flower material. All in all, I am pleased with the outcome and would do it again.

For advanced crafters only!
I have had this for some time and it is still not assembled. There are so many tiny fiddly bits that I simply can't figure out how to do, and when I try, I get glue all over everything and lose or break small pieces. Instructions are mostly pictures with arrows and one or two tiny-print words, although the repeated order to "stick it" is kind of amusing. I'm not sure at this point if I will ever finish it. I'm leaving some things completely undone because they don't work or the dried glue looks horrible, like the plastic for the "windows" that won't stay glued and have gluey fingerprints on them. I've wanted a book nook for a long time, and while it looks very pretty in the pictures, I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this one.

Really Challenging but Very Fun
This is a great thing to have on your bookshelf when it’s completed. However, completing it is really hard. I wouldn’t give this to someone who has never put a model together because it requires cutting and gluing and some extra things you’d need to buy separately. I’d grab an exacto knife, model glue, and a cutting mat. Good luck!

A bazillion pieces
There are sooo many pieces. It wouldn’t be so bad except the instructions are hard to follow. It doesn’t come with glue. The paper is cheap. I wish I hadn’t purchased this.

Horrible to put together
I have put together 4 Book Nooks, so this isn't my 1st experience. However, the instructions on this one are so bad, I didn't even get half way before I just threw it out. Nothing was lining up correctly because some pieces had been assembled wrong due to lack of clear instructions. You have to go by the picture a lot and you better have a magnifying glass and it still requires a lot of guessing and hoping you did it right. There are 1,000 pieces that aren't marked, but are at least in marked bags. You will still need a ruler to figure out exactly what square out of 10 squares you need. I don't give up easily, but after the 10th time of trying to correct a mistake and pulling all the glue apart, I finally said forget it and threw it out. Really too bad, it would have been adorable if you knew how to put it together correctly!

Not for beginners
This is my 2nd miniature kit. If it had been my first I would have given up and thrown it out. The directions are missing steps, it is very difficult to hold the pieces and glue them, and it's not high quality. However, I love the meticulous challenging journey and I've also been to Colmar, so I'm staying until the end. I'm about 1/2-2/3 through it. If this is your first mini, pay more money and get a better quality kit so that you will enjoy the experience more. It's not expensive once you realize it will take 29 hours to complete it. :-)

Poor quality
The paper parts of this book nook look like they came off a scanner and printed with poor quality ink

Poor and barest quality
Product gives you normal printing paper to cut out and glue onto wooden boards. items are all tossed into satchels with no identification, you are expected to measure the parts to tell which part is which. measurements are also off - spaces for wires to go into and not properly measured. impossible to fix.Very very poor quality compared to another book nook i purchased recently.
