Can I listen to two different audio sources at once? Say I wanted to listen to my monitor speakers and my headphones at the same time?

I don't believe that's possible from this device. There are 2 in/out ports, but when I plug my headphones into one it cuts out the speaker so it appears that those ports can't be used at the same time. I think they have 2 in/out ports for the purpose of allowing you to have all plugs on one side of the device or your output on the opposite side from your inputs. The 4 ports that are activated by the buttons can only be selected one at a time.

If I use it as 4 in 1 out, can 2 inputs be active at the same time??? Thanks

I need to be able to switch between 2 devices connected to my pc: my speakers and my headset with mic. will my headset microphone work if i use this?

Yes . . . if you use a cable to connect the Nobsound front jack to your PC speaker output, then cable from your speakers into one of the Nobsound rear switched jacks then your headset mic goes directly into the PC and the headset speaker cable into one of other Nobsound switched channels. The switches are totally mechanical so there is 100% isolation between channels. It's a "selector", not a "splitter". It allows only a single-channel-out. Press one button, it stays down. Press another button, the first one pops up. It's not really 1-in-4-out, but "1-in-1-out at a time". The "Mute" is handy and does not cancel the selected channel.

I've had 2 and i love this. !s there a version that has volume control on the 2 output ports (leaving the priority feature intact) ?

Just works

I'm using this to plug multiple computers into one 2.1 powered speaker system. Works perfectly and I would recommend to others. I've had none of the noise issues some other reviewers complain about. I suspect some of them might be misusing the device and not feeding line-level inputs.

Exactamente lo que esperaba.

El producto es muy sencillo y funciona tal cual la descripción, el cambio entre conexiones es inmediato y puedes escuchar un bonito sonido de "click" al presionar los botones. El botón de silencio funciona correctamente y me encanta que tenga una salida/entrada extra por la parte delantera.

Worth the money

I use this to switch sound between two computers to a set of desktop speakers. Works great and no sound lost or any kind of distortion. There are a total of four in ports so I could add more if I needed to. One cool design of this little control is you have all inputs in the back and one output in the back and one output in the front so all my wirers are out of the way falling behind the desk. It looks really nice sitting on the desktop secure with it's no slide rubber feet. Good product.
