These sandals are so cute!! I typically don't like platform shoes at all, but I saw these and they just appealed to me so I ordered them. Let me tell you, I am in love! First, the platform is only 2", so nothing crazy. Second, it's soooooooo comfortable. They're supportive and almost springy. I kinda feel like I'm walking on big, dense marshmallows. The straps are all really well made and thoughtfully designed. None of them dig or cut into my feet. Even when i over tighten them, they still don't rub or dig in uncomfortably. I love that there are two separate adjustable straps for the ankle. I have really wide feet and not the most svelte ankles sometimes, so a lot of sandals will be much too tight over the top of my ankle, but will fit the back of it. If I size up to get straps that fit the top, they'll be too loose on the back. These are perfect and I can completely adjust both straps super easily. The footbed of the shoe is wide foot friendly, and my EEE (yeah, thanks dad) feet fit exactly without hanging over the sides. I do have size 8 length feet, but I ordered 9 since these are sandals. With the ability to adjust the back ankle strap, the longer length is not an issue. The shoes are definitely an accurate 9 though. The bottom soles aren't slippery like I though they might be, and my steps are solid. These are lightweight and not at all clunky. I'm absolutely in love and so glad I live in a hot area, because it's still sandal weather! I really like the hot pink pair as well, and though I wish they made one with a black sole and pink straps, I'm absolutely going to purchase the pink ones now that I know how comfortable and cute these are in person. Totally worth the price IMO. Oh, and the smell is only really noticeable when your first open the box. It's basically dissipated, so if you're concerned, don't be.

These sandals are cute and comfortable. They don't slip on my feet and are cool to just walk around in when it's hot outside. I like the thick soles of them so I don't have to worry about my feet hurting while wearing them. All in all, a pretty decent sandal.

I was happy to try this product for my wife, who sweats very easily and prefers sandals that are non-slip and heavier because of it. We received it too late for us to fully take advantage of it during the summer months, but based on a couple of times using it, she has been very impressed.First of all, the sandals are built very well - probably one of the heavier and tight builds that we have seen on a sandal that we have seen. Despite that though, the fit is very comfortable (and not so heavy that it is a burden when wearing either) - she loved how it didn't slip on her bare feet, and the straps were also comfortable on the bare skin. The platform is pretty thick as well - so it gives a bit of additional height when wearing, much like high heels.At ~$90, it is a bit on the expensive side, so we are not sure about the value; however, just taking the sandals itself, this looks to be a fantastic quality product overall. We would recommend this.

These Melissa platform sandals are really cute and comfortable. I wasn't sure if a jelly sandal would feel comfortable, but these definitely do. The straps are soft and don't dig or rub at all. The ankle strap is adjustable front and back. The insole is cushy, and the shoes feel a little bouncy when you walk. They are just great! I love the soft pink color, modern look, and the scent as well. I normally wear a 7.5 or EU 38, sometimes an 8 in enclosed shoes or boots. According to the size chart, the size 7 is a 38. There are no half sizes, so I went with the size chart and got a 7. I'm glad I did, as they fit perfectly. With the ability to adjust the ankle and back strap, I am able to position my foot in this shoe to perfectly fill the footbed. I am glad I didn't size up! Love these!
