Bought this to install inside the console of our loveseat. Absolutely do not regret the purchase.This is essentially a round power strip. You will need a 3" hole saw that is appropriate for the material you're planning to cut for the install. I didn't bother with the three small locking screws they include. There's no sure way to match the holes, so why bother.The USB-C connections are "fast charge" equivalent and can power my laptop at 65W. So my USB-C cords stay nicely tuvked away inside the console now.I liked this so much that I bought a 2nd unit to install in my desk so that I can wrap my monitor cords up and away from my feet.

Installation required a bit of elbow grease - my husband had to use a power drill to create a 3-inch hole. But once you get past that, the rest is a breeze.The build of this Desktop Power Grommet is solid, reflecting its high quality. In this times, we always need extra power connections and even better if they are on hand, this Desktop Power it's helping me a lot when i need to charge my phone or other devices, the fast charge works great for my S23 Ultra, the only hard part is to make the hole on the desk, other than that it's really easy to install, the mounting is easy and fast, the quality of materials seems decent so overall i fell satisfied with it.

Says its 3" so I drilled a 3" hole with a hole cutter. I checked the hole cutter against the backing plate and it fit fine but in reality is its more like 3-1/16" wide, maybe a little bigger, so you actually need to drill a 3-1/8" hole for this to fit. Its a big pain in the hind parts now trying to open the hole up a little bigger.

This is a fairly nice power grommet which I ended up installing in one of my desks to help reduce the amount of cord mess that I had going on. It was really easy to install with a simple hole saw and the ports are working really well overall. The only reason I've reduced a star is that at their price point the value is somewhat murky as there are several other grommets that are at a much more affordable price point. Having said that, this is a quality grommet and therefore it does have an acceptable value in the space.

I have a laptop try I use and this was perfect. I had to drill out the cup holder a bit to fit this but I dont use it anyway.Makes getting power and charging my devices easy when using the tray.

I have been using this charging port for a couple weeks now and have no complaints. It brought some much needed power to my desk within arms reach. Very easy to install as long as you have a 3in hole in your desk. If you do not have a pre-drilled 3 in hole, a hole saw purchased from your local DIY store and a power drill are the only things you need to make one.The outlet itself is well made and makes for a solid power port. Once installed, it is low profile and hardly noticeable. The power cord is 16 gauge and capable of providing the power you need. This power port has given me multiple power supply options at my fingertips, and that is exactly what I needed.Highly Recommended.
