Head Sweats Hat

Good hat. Only thing is the flap is just a little short when wind is blowing.Other than that, captures sweat well and overall keeps head fairly safe from hours in the sun training and competing.Washes well with the rest of the running gear, hang dry.

I have used this on several runs in Austin, in the middle of the day, with the temperature over 100 degrees. It keeps me cooler than any visor or hat I have used over the past 30+ years of running, from Australia to Asia to the U.S. The fabric is light and lets the air flow through. The back flap actually channels air over the back of my neck, and the visor is slightly wider than normal so my face is well protected. It is a generous sizing, and easily adjustable. I take a larger size in caps, and it fits comfortably. It would also fit a much smaller head, with the rear elastic adjustment. I recommend it very highly.

Really like this hat. Love the sun protection. It just runs a little small. Perhaps it will stretch a little over time or my head will shrink, either way, if that happens I'll give back a star. Otherwise it's fantastic!

My 10-year old twin boys (who are very fair skinned) were in a sailing camp this summer and needed something to keep them well-protected from the sun on their daily adventures in Lake Erie. These hats were awesome. The hats allowed us to use much less sunscreen and still keep their faces and necks sunburn free. There is an adjustable strap that can make it tighter or looser, which kept them on their heads even in the wind. I would love to see these hats in some slightly darker colors, though. The white gets very dirty after just a few wears, especially in a lake and with little boys! Overall, though, I'd rather they wear a stained hat than get sunburned.

I live in the low desert of Arizona, so I wanted a product to keep the sun off of my ears and neck while running 4-5 hours at a time while training for ultra's.I have found that the neck shield flaps outward like a cape while I'm running. Never had a hat like this before, so I'm not sure if this is expected or not. It does protect my ears at all times, but the neck shield only lays against my neck for protection while I'm stopped or walking slowly.Still better than a regular hat for overall protection.

I'm hardly aware that I'm wearing it. Its light weight and apparent flimsiness may be negative for some, but it has provided ample sun protection for me while running and playing pickleball at altitude (6.500-7,500 feet). I have a big head, so I haven't needed to adjust the fit with the built-in loop; it stays on while running. The neck flap is light enough to be unobtrusive. I can't judge its durability since I've just started using it, but so far so good.

I've had two or three of these hats. I've had great luck with their bicycle helmet liners (which continue to perform great after hundreds of wearings and hundreds of machine washes). I needed this one for spectator sports where one is sitting out in the bleachers for hours in the sun. My previous set hat when the fabric peeled off the brim away from the stiffening material. In previous ones, that happened after maybe a dozen uses (which wasn't good). When I received this one, I washed it and hung it dry. I then wore it for the Indy 500 and then washed it again. Coming out of the wash the fabric on the brim had totally shredded and separated from the brim rendering the hat useless. I have returned it. I can't recommend this hat, which is too bad because it functions great in terms of sun protection.

I love this, it works great in the Arizona summer. Moisture wicking, breathble and protects neck, what more could you want. Only negatives are it is white, meaning sweat stains but the white does keep you cool. Also very snug on my large head

I bought one for playing tennis and it was so great I bought another to wear boating or any time In a hot sun!

Great for running & tennis, lightweight, moisture-wicking, keeps the flies off, regulates temperature by keeping off a mild chill as well as protecting my bald patch & back of neck in strong sun! Easily washed in washing machine, the visor is still firm and no sign of wearing out after 2 years of use.

Have used for tennis and it was great. But, mainly purchased for bike riding under my helmet for which it will be perfect. It is one size fits all and I have a large size head. But it fits no problem. Highly recommend!
