Replacement of all the knobs and oven ignitor 3Xs
The cook top is great. The parts are made of plastic to look like real stainless steel. The knobs are wrapped, and peel after use. The part that locks on to the gas valve have all broke. The range looks if you don't use it.I bake a lot for my family. I have had to replace the igniter 3 times, and it seems that I am working on replacing it a 4th time. After 6 months, the oven is not heating up fast enough again. I have learned to purchase the knobs and igniter spares have on hand in case the oven fails when I really need it.The plasma clock temp screen looks warped after using the large center burner to cook a big pot a soup.

The oven bakes impossibly uneven. And Samsung considers this to be normal for this product!
I gave 2 stars because the cooktop is amazingly good. I bought and had this oven installed in November of 2017. The stainless steel on the cooktop is easy to scratch and shows every crumb, but that is a minor problem. The real problem is the oven. This range has the most uneven heating I have ever experienced in any of the ranges I have had over many years. I have had Samsung repair out twice now - first time the thermostat was burned out so they replaced that. No improvement in the oven. Using a good quality oven thermometer, I found out just how uneven the heat is. When I set the top oven on convection at 450 degrees, instead of heating to 425 - which is normal for convection - it went to 460 and burned the food. When I turn on the bottom oven, to convection heat of 450, it chimed when it said it had reached 450. But the thermometer registered 300 degrees! It actually took 25 minutes to get the oven to 400 and it never went higher. I learned from one of the repair men that both ovens actually chime when the HEATING ELEMENT reaches the set temperature, Not the oven cavity! WHAT??????? That is insane. After the repair man saw all this he called the repair center and was informed that a it is acceptable in this oven for the temperature range to be off by anywhere from 25-40 degrees!!! And Samsung had no intention of doing anything about it.I called the Escalated Customer Support and a third repairman is being sent out. I am SOOOOO sorry I ever bought this range and I can't imagine ever buying from foreign-made Samsung again. If this won't be fixed by Samsung, I plan to try to get Lowes to back me up. They have excellent customer service and I am hoping they will work with me on this. The takeaway form this story is: NEVER, EVER BY A SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCE!! THE QUALITY IS UNBELIEVABLY BAD and YOU WILL GET VERY LITTLE HELP FROM SAMSUNG!!

The power of the burners on the top is great, but the oven does not maintain temperature when ...
I have had mine for a couple of months and I would not purchase one again. The power of the burners on the top is great, but the oven does not maintain temperature when you have to repeatedly open the door, such as when you are roasting vegetables and they need to be turned. The top oven's heat comes from a broiler, so the food gets scorched when the oven needs to reheat. It's really a broiler and an oven rather than two ovens.

It fails within a year!
This gas range fails within a year!!!Had to write this update because it has been a total nightmare getting service for Samsung products. I finally realize from other reviews their products for the home are subpar.IF you are set on buying it you have to get the extended service insurance which I did not get.Only 1/2 the oven has worked the full oven has not. Now I have a brand new range with only a 1/2 oven. It is my understanding from reading other reviews if you use the self cleaning feature it melts the buttons and the circuit board. I was happy until I see the short lived quality of the Samsung brand for this kind of product.

BUYER BEWARE
Don't spend your money on ANY Samsung Appliances. Well over 3k in a Samsung range. I have YET to be able to actually use it to its full potential. The range has not worked properly since we purchased it. 5 repairs later, it was deemed non repairable and that it was a manufacturer problem. I have been waiting 3 months for a replacement or a full refund. We spent the extra money for an extended warranty, boy what a joke is that. Talking to customer service is like pulling teeth and going in circles. I have been waiting for 3 weeks now for a supervisor to call me back in regards to the full refund I have been waiting for. I purchased an air fryer and have been making dinner on the grill for my son and husband. THANK YOU SAMSUNG FOR THE TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND FOR THE OWNERSHIP ON YOUR WORKMANSHIP. BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't waste your money on the Samsung Flex Duo Range. It is the biggest pos, and dealing with support is even worse.

Touchscreen control unit shut off when it gets too hot from using the oven
It's nice...for the first year. I own this thing for 1 year and 4 months, and the touchscreen head unit will randomly turn itself off after the oven is on for a while. I can only turn the touchscreen back on after power cycling the gas range from my circuit breaker. The pattern I figured out is that it will turn off when it overheated from using the oven. Basically the head unit will turn off not long after I feel the touchscreen becomes hot to the touch. I did call a Samsung authorized local technician and the quote I got was $667 parts + $210 labor = $877. Not sure if spending $877 will fix it as this problem looks to me to be a serious design flaw on Samsung. Oh yeah, the local technician did mention to me Samsung is only good at making TV and cellphone. What a joke! The look of the gas range is very nice but it really only has the look.

Samsung sells faulty appliances with short warranty time period.
The top internal heating element and convection stopped working within 3 years and we are responsible for the full cost of repair. With this experience as well as now seeing all of the other similar experiences of others, I’m considering getting rid of this and buying a new oven. Why would I invest in this one only to risk a plethora of other problems on a practically brand new oven. I’ve learned an expensive lesson that I will NEVER buy ANYTHING with the brand name of Samsung.
