I looked online for a long time trying to find an elevated feeder for my mini dachshund. It only needs to be approximately 3 inches tall since her legs are so short. I saw another picture of a mini dachshund submitted by another reviewer and I have to agree with her - this is perfect. I got the small size, with the .75 cup slow feeder bowl. I feed her 1/3 cup per meal so it works great, holding all of the food without overflowing. I wasn't sure the feeder bowl would actually slow her down, since it is just raised in the middle and doesn't look like a maze or puzzle like other slow feeder bowls. But I have to say it slows her down as much if not even more without frustrating her. I would highly recommend both the Neater Feeder Express with the slow feed bowls for anyone with a small dog who eats too fast. As dachshund owners know, most dachshunds are ferocious eaters and don't stop until all of the food is gone. This keeps her bowl from sliding around and she eats slowly enough she isn't coughing and choking and vomiting after her meals. It was very easy to assemble and easy to use. Highly recommend.

My golden retriever insists on drinking from my dachshunds small bowl instead of his, and makes a giant mess every time. I bought this to stop water from getting all over the kitchen floor. He still drinks out of this ridiculously small (for him) bowl, but the water is caught underneath and I don't have to clean up his mess 5 times a day. Highly recommend.

Horrible came all dirty stained up with some black stuff on it that I couldn't wash off. And 2 it was to small for my 27 lb frenchie bella. Waste of money. Hate when they have a picture one way and when u get it your like wow really 😒 🙄 smh.

Kitchen is designed to keep food and water in tray. Great system but bowles are too small.

I bought two of these for my dogs, and within two days one of them started rusting at the top. I’m not sure why, since both dogs are fed the same food and the other bowl is completely fine. I tried scrubbing it, but the rust will not come off. It still functions, but it looks worn and poor quality already, which is disappointing.

It is sooo cute! I used to have a big one when I had a big dog. I will be getting a Yorkipoo and this will be perfect.
