Walfront DC 6V Mini Micro Electric Gear Motor High 30RPM~500RPM, Long Output Shaft (55mm x M3 Threaded Rod)(6V 300 RPM)

Needed a little motor to drive a shaft with a small impeller for immersion agitation. Seems solid and well built - time will tell.

Thanks to the gear train this little motor packs a punch. I tested using my bench power supply and at 5 volts and no load it just drew 100 miliamps. When I pinched the shaft to give it a decent load it took just 300 miliamps and had a lot of torque. It still worked well, but slower of course, when driven as low as 2 volts. Because of the high gear ratio it is self-breaking, that is, when power is removed it's going to stay right where it is.I don't have a specific use for this just yet, but it won't be long before it becomes part of one of my hobby projects. The product is as described, works well. Motor direction appears reversible by changing DC supply polarity.However, this motor with a long spindle extending out of the gear box was shipped in a thin plastic bubble wrap package, which left it exposed to impacts and bending/torque on the spindle, so I am concerned it may have been torqued. It should be shipped in a protective cardboard box. Furthermore, I ordered 5 of these in one single order. They were sent as four separate shipments, 3 singles, and one pair. All just in bubble wrap. Only 4 arrived, one was returned as 'undeliverable'. Whta crazy way is this of shipping an order of 5? Makes no sense!

The shaft of this motor is advertised to be 55mm x M3 threaded rod, but it's actually about 1/2" long unthreaded. It also took about 3 weeks to get here, so I'm hesitant to return it for a replacement. Now I've got to figure out how to extend this shaft to do what I need.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered one of these and i'm very satisfied, this is so tiny so it draws almost no current, I pulled down my power supply current limiter to minimum (around zero) and the motor keeped working lolUse them to prototype a drop by drop liquid dispenser (7 liquids in my case) and as you see in the video this is slow enough to precisely count drops (tested between 3 and 6.5v)Now how long will it keep working I can't say, mines are going to shot On and off around 20min daily

Third time is a charm! Finally got this motor delivered to my work address. Arrived fast and is exactly what I needed!
