Anyone noticed this too?** A: It only consumes 480W of power maximum. At 15 p per kwh that works out at £1.73 per 24 hour day. But that energy is released as heat- so the side effect is not all bad. You will never get something for nothing. Do you expect the humidifier to work for no cost!? stick it on the timer function as well as work out what humidity level you want to get down to before switching off. The machine will then run automatically within the parameters you have set ( or can afford ). The cost to my property of dampness long term was far greater than the cost of the electricity used to dry it out and keep it dry! **Q: Hi folks how much does this cost to run?
