Very. Nice for children reading

Hour's and hours of entertainment. I didnt realise how many characters my two year old knew until he started naming them all when he saw the books. The best part of bedtime is picking out one or five to read! Excellent all round.

What an amazing buy. My little one love thomas and books so this is a win win for me.Cant wait to see her face on christmas day.I bought this as used at a bargain price and its practically new the books do not even look like they have been opened. The storage box looks a little used but not so bad that it isnt gift able.... im very impressed. Would definately buy from here again.

My 4 year old son loves this. But, please be aware that the books are a very tight fit in their 3 sections inside the box, so my son struggles to independently retrieve and replace. In fact, I’d say he finds it impossible. He loves the ‘treasure chest’ style of opening the box, but that does not help with access, really. The outer box has all the box listed with the titles, but the images and font are so exceptionally small I cannot read them (vs say the Mr Men box set). Yet, overall, it’s a great box set, made with quality materials, and certainly good value.

Lovely books, great set for a little train lover, taken out of the box as it is not build to with stand little man’s heavy hands

A present for my granddaughter, who likes Thomas stories just as much as the boys.

My great grandson will be thrilled to get this present on Christmas Day. Although the books are only paper, the pictures are exactly as they should be and the print is clear and easy to read, for young and old. Thomas and all his friends are here and safe and sound in a sturdy,box. I would never have afforded to buy itat full price (£150), but at £35 I couldn't resist it. If a child loves Thomas and his friends, bed-time will always be a plasure for the child and the reader and with 65 books to choose from, it will never be dull.

A big collection of Thomas and friends selection. Good bed time stories. Everybody love them. Good sturdy box and nice little booklets.

These books are GREAT for little Thomas and Friends enthusiasts. They are very well written, with good character development, life lessons, and artwork. My 3.5 year old son loves to identify each character. Perfect length for bedtime stories! One of the best book collections I've seen!

英語育児のために、家に英語の本を200～300冊くらいそろえていますが、このボックスを買ったとたん、これ以外の本をほとんど読まなくなるくらい、子供にとっては物凄いインパクトがありました。子供はまだ文字が読めませんが、63冊すべての表紙を見たら、そのキャラの名前が言えるようになりそうな勢いです。これはくだらないことに見えて、実は将来役立つと思います。だいたいの名前が、トーマス、ジェームスなど、典型的な英語の名前なので、一通り知っておいて損はないと思うので。。。英語的には、ところどころに難易度の高い語彙や言い回しが出るので、簡単ではありません。絵が内容をかなり忠実に表しているおかげで、子供たちは何とかあらすじが理解できている程度です。英語以外にも、読み聞かせるママも、鉄道独特の知識を覚えていかなくてはなりません。機関車の燃料石炭を入れる貨車はtender、車輪のところに付いている棒はcoupling rod、信号も電気ではなく、上がるとStop、下がるとGo、機関車内で働く人は2人いて、1人が運転、もう1人が石炭をくべる役、などなど。また、ストーリーの知識も覚えていかなくてはなりません。私はトーマスのことは全く知らなかったので、トーマスの後ろに付いているオレンジ色の2車両にそれぞれ名前が付いていて、トーマスとは別人(別車?)だということさえ知りませんでした。。。ちなみに、この箱を手に入れるまでには、長い道のりがありました。アマゾンJP、ヤフオク、Facebookの売買グループ等でいろいろ見ましたが、どれも1万円超えていて、躊躇していましたが、最終的には、アマゾンUKのマーケットプレイスで、送料込5400円くらいで買えました。しかしそこに至るまでに、何度も注文キャンセルされたり(本体が重すぎてアマゾンから受け取る送料が足りないのではと予想)、業者のミスで1冊しか届かなかったり(63冊すべてが同じISBNであるため起こるミス）と、いろいろゴタゴタがありました。しかし、子供が超気に入ってくれたので、頑張って入手したかいはあったと思います。特に不満点はありませんが、1冊が薄くて小さいので、なくなりやすいと思います。何冊もまとめて取り出して散らかすスタイルはやめて、1冊ずつ、ちゃんと戻すこと、と約束させました。2歳児のほうは、本がぎっしり入った箱に上手く隙間を見つけて戻すということができず、先っぽだけ入れて立ち去り、4歳兄に怒られたりしています・・・。笑でも、箱に入っているという点で、宝箱的なワクワク感があると思いますし、本も細かいので、整頓のしやすさから考えても、中身だけ出して本棚に並べるというようなことは考えていません。
