I was able to use it, but I think that I will be tearing the mesh in time. The pad itself worked great behind some curtains that I am steaming to get out some horrible manufacturing creases. The steam was not even felt through this pad, which worked much like an ironing board behind the drapes. One star off for me. If your hands are no more than "large" when it comes to things like kitchen latex gloves, then this would likely be five stars for you. Alas! I cannor use someone else's hands to fit this pad.
