One of the top three.
I watched several videos on synthetic oils. Moly, Amsoil and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum kept engines clean with little wear. Amsoil was the winner of engine wear, drain interval and removal of existing sludge and varnish. It is also most expensive. Moly doesn't like to mix with other oils. It purports to increase fuel economy. If you want to use it you should do a second oil change the following day. Moly is a very good product as is Pennzoil. Neither Moly or Pennzoil encourage extended drain intervals. Probably a max of 7,500 miles or one year which ever comes first. I decided to go with Amsoil 5w30 for least engine wear including the timing chain and cleaning existing sludge and varnish. I am currently running Valvoline Restore and Protect for up to 5,000 miles to remove a substantial amount of sludge and varnish before making the switch.

Liquid Gold for Your Engine! 🛢️💥
I didn’t think I’d get excited about motor oil, but here we are—Liqui Moly Molygen 5W-40 has officially made me feel like a car enthusiast. If you're serious about keeping your engine purring like a kitten, this stuff is like giving it a spa day with an energy drink chaser. First off, this isn’t just any old motor oil—it’s high-tech motor oil. We’re talking German engineering at its finest. The neon green color? Oh yeah, it looks as cool as it sounds, and trust me, when you see that green oil running through your engine, you know you're in for some serious performance. 🟢💯 Why do I love it? Engine protection: This oil is like a security blanket for your engine. It reduces friction like a champ, so parts glide smoothly, which means less wear and tear. Translation: your engine will thank you with better performance and a longer life. Fuel efficiency: You’re not just getting a smoother ride; you’re also saving some bucks at the pump. The way this oil cuts down on friction helps with fuel economy. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving. Cold start-ups? No problem. Whether you’re dealing with a chilly morning or scorching summer, this oil handles temperature extremes like a boss. It maintains its viscosity so your engine stays protected regardless of the weather. And did I mention the Molygen technology? It’s not just a fancy name—this oil has additives that coat your engine in a protective film, keeping it running smooth and reducing the risk of damage, even during high-stress drives. Final thought: If you're looking for an oil that’s as serious about your car’s performance as you are, the Liqui Moly Molygen 5W-40 is it. Your engine will run smoother, quieter, and stronger, and you’ll feel like you’ve just upgraded your car’s lifeblood. 🚗💨 Plus, that neon green color? Total conversation starter at the garage. 😉

Trusted reliable brand
I recently used LIQUI MOLY Molygen New Generation 5W-30 for an oil change and overall I’m very impressed with the quality. The oil feels like a premium product and the difference in engine smoothness was noticeable almost immediately after the change. The engine runs quieter and smoother, especially during cold starts. This oil uses advanced additive technology designed to reduce friction and protect internal engine components, which helps improve efficiency and extend engine life. It also helps prevent deposits and keeps the engine cleaner over time. () Another thing I like is that it maintains stable viscosity even under high temperatures and heavy driving conditions. It provides excellent lubrication and wear protection while also helping improve fuel efficiency. The oil is also compatible with modern engines, including turbocharged applications, this is a high-quality synthetic motor oil that provides excellent protection and performance. If you’re looking for a reliable oil that keeps the engine running smoothly and helps reduce wear, this is definitely a great option and worth the price.

Super nice and smooth, so much power! Car feels nimbler. Worth the price
I normally don't buy such expensive engine oils (normally buy cheap diesel truck oils add in MoS2). However, this one was well worth the purchase. Engine feels substantially smoother and quieter. After running for a while, the car feels a lot nimbler. More power, and as if it simply wants to keep moving rather than whining. It glides like a magic carpet

Excellent for Ford engines
I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Liqui Moly 5W-20 oil in my 2023 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost. I drive extensively—between 35,000 and 50,000 miles annually—visiting multiple job sites each week, and this oil has exceeded my expectations. For years, I used Royal Purple without any major issues. However, I began noticing a slight lifter knock in both my truck and my wife’s 2020 Ford Explorer—a problem that seems increasingly common in newer vehicles. I switched to Liqui Moly around the fourth oil change, at approximately 20,000 miles, and the improvement was immediately noticeable. The engine runs quieter, fuel economy has improved by about 1.5 MPG, acceleration feels smoother, and there’s noticeably less carbon buildup at the exhaust tip. Now at 70,000 miles and 10 oil changes with Liqui Moly, I won’t use anything else. As for my wife’s Explorer, she drives far less, but I’ve completed six oil changes using Liqui Moly Special Tec 5W-20 and observed the same benefits: quieter operation, improved mileage, and reduced carbon deposits. I plan to try the Liqui Moly engine flush during both our next oil changes to see if it helps further reduce carbon buildup.

My 2004 Audi A4 2.0i used to burn almost 2 litres of oil per 1000km. I was looking for a way to fix the problem. Friend of mine recommended to flush the engine using liqui moly engine flush and to use this oil. The combination gave a new life to my car. It now burns only 0.25l of oil per 1500km. The oil stays clear even after 3000km and that means the oil don't lose its properties after It's heated up in your engine. It is a bit expensive, but for the money you get an oil that is a real fully-synthetic oil. Another plus point is that the engine runs as smooth as silk, I couldn't tell if the engine was on or off. Totally recommend it if your VW/Audi(or any other car) burns too much oil.
