Are these 23ae batteries? Needed for Minke ceiling fan remote

A23 battery is also known as 23A, 23AE, GP23A, V23GA, LRV08, 8LR932, 8LR23, MN21, L1028 or ANSI-1181A

looking for battery dated at least 2022 . What is the expiration date on these batteries ?

I just received my Duracell 4 pack. They do not list and expiration date. They list a "Best Before" date. My 4 pack was dated March 2025. Voltage each of the individual batteries as measured w/ volt meter: 12.76; 12.78; 12.79; 12.80. That is good voltage.

Can i use this to start my truck?

This battery has a maximum current output of 0.05 Amps and a car takes about 200 Amps to crank. That means it would take 4,000 of these batteries in parallel to start a car. I don't think you want to do that.

Are these batteries really 3.5 inches long?

They are exactly 1.125" (1 1/8") long.

They are batteries. If they don’t work, then there’s something wrong with them!

I needed these exactly for my ceiling fan remote controllers, that when the batteries go is a pain in the big old butt because then the ceiling fan nor the light that is the ceiling fan can used!!! Once replaced, they function as they should and are still working as expected in powering up my ceiling fans and light, keeping the airflow in my home and keeping things nice and cool!
