When I bought this I didn’t have high expectations of the quality. I just needed a box to store some things. Shocked doesn’t describe how I felt when I opened this package. The beauty and craftsmanship of this box is incredible. Even the box it came in was of high quality. It hasn’t even been a week and I’m purchasing a second box. Such amazing quality and beauty at a very affordable price. I see more in various sizes in my future.

Perfect box for my pipe tobaccos–my humidor! Well made, thick walls, sturdy construction, no fussy latch, no smells inside, bottom lined with thin layer of felt, just the size I was looking for (not too small), finished but not glossy, sturdy hinges, lid stays open, received it in record time. No problems, no complaints of any kind. Highly recommended.

I purchased this for my spouse's birthday and it is a very nice box. The presentation is even better with the embroidered bag that encloses the box. Anyone opening the outer box and seeing the wooden box enclosed in the bag will be impressed.As to the box itself it is a handsome work, well crafted and has a nice appearance. The box is lighter in weight than expected, which is a surprise since oak is a dense wood that has some weight. The one received is not as "polished" as I would have expected, and the wood grain is more pronounced that I have seen in an oak box. The hinges are chrome plated and are suitable, although the small arcs that hold the lid from opening too far are thin and only time will tell how they last. The interior bottom of the box has a felt lining and included are four rubber feet to be attached by the purchaser if desired. The feet are adhesive and nice quality.In all, this is a very nice box suitable for gifting. And the seller is a highly credible company with a great attitude about their products. The original box I ordered was lost in shipping somehow and they actually contacted me to offer their support. Unusual in today's business climate for sure.

Sturdy box, accurate description, a bit of an odor (glue) that eventually should diminish, so depending on what you need it for, that might be an issue. Overall, the description is accurate, comes in a nice bag and good packaging. Seller is excellent for any assistance you may need. This is a substantial box, you won’t be happy with it if you’re looking for something lightweight. It’s packed nicely in a drawstring velveteen-like pouch, which avoids scratches during transit. The bottom is lined with lightly-cushioned black felt. The first time you open the box, you’ll find four 1” diameter peel & stick silicone “feet” for a non-scratch bottom of the box.This is a simple but high-quality box. Little things such as feet made of thicker silicone, rather than skinny felt circles, show that e.r. crew takes pride in their products.The business card, which came with the box, says that e.r. crew is a small family-run business.
