Urban birds love suet, seemingly better than bird seeds. This ten pack is ideal to feed the birds; each individually wrapped for protection, fits perfectly into the metal bird feeder, the price is right and the sparrows love it as the nosey squirrel can’t get to it.

The birds love it. I like the packaging that makes it easy to just cut it open and slide it into my feeder with no mess.

I was very surprised at the variety of birds this attracts. Its early April here in the Northeast and the birds in this area definitely love it. Woodpeckers - Downy, Red Bellied and Hairy - visit it multiple times during the day. Northern Mockingbirds and Cardinals as well. (see the attached pictures). Have also seen Song Sparrows, Chickadees, Dark-eyed Juncos and Carolina Wrens visit the feeder. Good price for a product our feathered friends enjoy. The only downside is it is a little oily-waxy to handle. Wear disposable rubber gloves when you handle the suet cakes.

I noticed I was getting short on bird suet one day I ordered a box and it was delivered the very next day. The birds really enjoy it.

The birds like it. I mostly get small redheaded woodpeckers. Personally I have no idea if it is healthy…I have to trust the suppliers on that.

After waiting weeks for this arrive, we are disappoint how the quality has changed, this suet seems to be about useless now -- here, few birds will touch this suet cake. These pictures show two of three suet cakes that are hanging for a week and are barely touched. One cake not at all. I used to have to replace all of these suet cakes every 3-4 days, but now, with these cakes, none of the Wood Peckers will go to it. Only the Starlings peck a little at it, as they will usually eat anything, and I don't want to feed them. I am wondering if there is a chemical or something spoiled in this new batch as most suet cakes are consumed quickly, even this brand and type. There are few if any seeds or kernels visible, just looks like yellow greasy lard. The real tell is that the squirrels are avoiding climbing up into the feeder where this was placed, and of course, the birds are avoiding it....Maybe that's what its best for, I can save my seeds for the birds this way.

I used this produce to feed the blue jays and woodpeckers. I find it lasts longer.

So far the birds won’t eat them. They prefer the other kind I have. These might be a total waste of money.

It’s no easy to find really good suet blocks that don’t fall apart in your hands. This product is better , but the price is ridiculous. Someone needs to make decent blocks at a more reasonable price.
