Excellent, good value for money, good storage capacity, good functionality, good writing speed.

This card is very impressive. For me, write speeds are important as I use the cards for high resolution video at maximum fps. See the image to see the headline statistics - you can see the entire surface map is consistently fast, the slowest being 78.11 mbps, the highest being 137.57 mbps. I had also bought a Sandisk Extreme 256GB and tested it using the same apparatus, in fact I tried two brand new cards. Both showed the surface scan to be dotted with dark green squares and whilst the write speed never dropped below 30 mbps, there were quite a few sectors in the 30s. For the faster sectors, the Sandisk was higher, however it is clear to me that the Samsung card is less erratic and will give more consistent performance. I would therefore definitely buy these Samsung cards over the Sandisk Extreme as I would assume the manufacturing standards are far higher giving rise to the more consistent results.

After a positive review, the price usually increases on Amazon. But I'm making an exception now. I've used many cards from all manufacturers. I have faster cards than this, but this one has performed the best so far in my Samsung phone. I recommend it to everyone, it even beat the SanDisc 200/140 cards in my tests. I'm attaching the results. Unfortunately, I know the price will increase soon...buy it as soon as possible.

The fastest UHS-I card I have tested - maintained a steady 128MB/sec write speed over 16GB. 160MB/sec read speed wasn't quite the 200MB/sec claimed but I'm perfectly satisfied (this was with the 128GB card - maybe the larger cards are faster for reading?) Recommended. I'm planning to use it as the system disk for my Raspberry Pi 5 and will update the review if there are any issues. UPDATE: when installed as the boot disk on the Pi 5 it was about the same speed as my old SanDisk Extreme Pro but its still a good card and recommended

I have been using this Samsung 128GB microSD card for over two years, and it has worked exactly as expected. No data corruption, no random disconnects, no reliability issues. It has been stable and consistent in daily use. Write speeds feel slow on my camera, but the camera is the bottleneck, not the card. At the time of purchase, this was among the faster options in its category based on both read and write speed claims. In real-world use outside of my camera’s limitations, it performs in line with what it advertises. One of the main reasons I prefer microSD over full-size SD cards is durability. Full-size SD cards have a physical locking switch that can break. When that happens, your data can effectively become locked behind a small plastic design flaw. I have experienced this before and managed to work around it using the tape trick, but I would rather avoid that situation entirely. MicroSD cards remove that mechanical weak point.

Le velocità di lettura/scrittura citate sopra si basano su test interni di laboratorio condotti in condizioni controllate. Questo comunque è un discorso che vale per tutti i prodotti elettronici testati in laboratorio e poi commercializzati; ✅ Garanzia ufficiale Samsung di ben 10 anni. Certo, ci sono produttori che garantiscono le loro MicroSD top di gamma a vita (vedi SanDisk Extreme PRO), però voglio dire… se in 10 anni non si manifesta alcun problema direi che va tutto bene, no? Poi tra 3-4 anni questa MicroSD sarà già il passato remoto delle memorie flash, davvero qualcuno pensa di poter usare una scheda di memoria “a vita”? CONTRO 👎 ❌ Difficile trovare un difetto a questa scheda MicroSD PRO Ultimate. A voler essere pignoli, ma questo vale per tutte le Memory Card e USB Samsung, se qualcosa va storto e il prodotto è ancora in garanzia bisognerà rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore per l’eventuale (e si spera!) sostituzione con un prodotto equivalente. Nessun Centro Assistenza Autorizzato cercherà di ripararla. Attenzione quindi a comprarla dai Marketplace perché oggi ci sono, domani chissà… CONCLUSIONI ⚖️ Con un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente, questa PRO Ultimate MicroSD Memory Card da 256GB si è dimostrata un vero “Best Buy”. Dopo 2 giorni di uso molto intensivo devo ammettere che sono felicemente e pienamente soddisfatto (ma non sorpreso perché da Samsung me lo aspettavo) dell’acquisto. Acquisto che mi sento di consigliare senza se e senza ma.
