This mirror is very flexible and adjustable for working on those small projects. It has two lighting modes - one is warm white and the other is a brighter white. The light is powered by a USB cable so there are no batteries to contend with replacing and the cable has an on/off switch built into it. The magnifying function is good, not too strong nor too weak. I most like that once you mount the light to a secure, solid surface, it can be adjusted and articulated to several angles and length. The swivel where the light arm attaches to the mount is a bit loose or wobbly but you can tighten it up enough so that the light is secure. If you work with small parts, solder circuit boards or work with anything involving small items, this light arm will definitely make the job easier. Adjust it to where you need it and it stays in place. I recommend it!

The lighted magnifier is an time and eye saving device that is indispensable when it comes to working with smaller objects such as models, painting, or soldering. It also works great with reading small print books or labels. Well worth the money paid, I love it so much i bought one for my mom and my wife as well.

Seems to work fine, just got it a couple days ago. However the light would Not come on. I ended up removing the push switch (cutting top and bottom) and splicing the wires together. Work now, just have to unplug and plug in each time to use it. For the money, its fine for what I need it for.

As an avid miniature painter, this has saved my minis more times than I can count. It's adjustable and the light is surprisingly strong for those small crevices. The magnifying glass does not tire my eyes and helps with those details. Also, if you just want it for the light, it will not dissapoint

Ive had this lamp for a little over a year and it just stopped working. The usb cord seems to have a weak connection, and when I plug it in, it flickers the whole time. There is no other way to plug it in- just the usb cord that is attached- so you cant just get a new usb cord! I tried plugging it into different adapters, my laptop, a wall plug adapter, etc.. and it still flickers and goes dim. I wish I never got this one! Now I have to shell out another $40 for a new lamp. Buyer beware of this product. It will work for a year and then die!

The PSU is a typical phone charger type. It heats up after a day on the bench and flickers/turns off. However since it is such a common type I can use another one. The lens does have distortion around the edges, this does not bother me for my use case of electronics work. The clamp is a good feature and performs well. The lighting is brighter than my old fluorescent one.

Surprisingly good quality for the money. The lens is glass, and has good depth of field. The LED lighting is quite helpful and the adjustable color temp and intensity are a nice feature. The armature hold steady and is easily adjustable. Significant value for the price. 5 stars.

My husband hand carves miniatures and he has a work bench set up in his garage but the light he previously had was not convenient for such tiny detailed handcrafts. I found this on Amazon and ordered it for him, hoping it would provide the light and versatility he needed to do his craft. The base clasps onto his work table and since it is adjustable, he can move the neck of the lamp in almost any position he needs to give light to his project. So far, he is very happy with it and may order another one for an additional work space.
