i would go a whole size down if available. they run on the large side

I would say a U.S. size 8. They don't come in half sizes, at least here anyway. There are size conversion charts on the internet you should research that first. Mine ran a bit big, but they are still excellent.

Q: On the TUK website, most shoes are vegan, are these ?

I don’t believe they are. They do appear under the vegan options on the TUK website. That being said they are a great pair of shoes. I get compliments on them all the time.
