Bootstrap Farmer 1010 Trays 10 Pack Extra Strength w/Holes Seed Starting Microgreens

I love to garden and sow a ridiculous number of seeds, but I hate to use plastic. If I use plastic I want to know it is high quality and will last for years. These seed trays are great. Each is really sturdy and two fit perfectly in the 1020 tray with humidity dome (all from Bootstrap Farmer). I am a big fan.

With all the conflicting reviews, I didn't expect much from these trays. I was shocked when they arrived at how heavy the package was and thought that something else must be in there with them. Nope, just the most sturdy seed starting trays I could imagine! Pretty sure you would have to run one over with a vehicle to break it. I think they will last pretty much forever and that helps the rather large price go down a whole lot easier. If you are serious about growing, these are the trays for you. I am planning on growing micro-greens in these and will be using them over and over again. I am sure there will be no problems!

I like these to let seedlings blast off in these trays for a few years while controlling downward growing roots. The hole size and quantity is perfect for training bonsai trees in pumice, pine bark, etc. Aggregate doesn't fall through the holes, but water and oxygen exchange is right where it needs to be. Color fade on the plastic, but they're still plenty strong after 2 growing seasons. They're sort of like mini Anderson flats.A thousand stars.

Extremely high quality 10x10s. Just understand that they won't fit as well in a 1020 solid tray because the flare (top edge) takes up that little bit of space that prevents them from nesting perfectly in a 1020. But I solved that by using the shallow solid trays for watering from beneath. All of their products are fantastic.

With a microgreen business the 10x10 trays are constantly being used. These trays are extremely sturdy compared to the flimsy trays you normally find in stores or online. In the past we threw away trays that were falling apart from repeated use but with these trays I see a few years of use out of one tray. That being said, putting two 10x10 trays inside a 10x20 tray hasnt been a good fit. The trays are a little to bulky to sit properly in the 10x20 tray so they will not be flush with the bottom. Otherwise great product. Will buy again and suggest the product for anyone.

Yes they cost more than from other sources and those other ones are not sturdy at all despite what they say. These are really strong and won't end up in the trash/landfill any time soon.

I like these, they seem sturdy and are great for what I wanted them for, but one came broken.Now I am short one for my project.
