I've been using "Dingle Berry Brushes" for many years. They provide the best ring-seating surface the average Joe can provide, and they are great for deburring. I bought this set to handle various projects, but specifically to deburr lifter bores on my Flathead HV-12 after drilling for adjustable lifters. (Those who know Flatheads will understand.) The flex hone takes care of the burs left after drilling while simultaneously providing a nice oil holding bore finish for the lifters. This kit is well worth the money, and is much less than if purchasing all the pieces separately. You rock, Brush Research!

Bought these for working on my 5.0l sbc. Doing a master rebuild but I needed something I could use to hone the ports. It came with a USB drive with some very useless instructional videos. It also came with a hat and a small thing of oil. It came in a crushed box with all the hones in separate packages. It also came with a sticker. I have used these only twice and they seem to experience wear at a quick pace. Be prepared to have to replace the hones as you use them down the road.

I give them a three-star rating because the handles are so short. They could at least make them so they could have an attachment to make them longer and able to use a tool to be able to spin them.

Made in America. Yes I paid a little more for these hones but they are extremely well made and leave an excellent finish.

The 10mm and 1/2" both were severely worn after only 1 use on brake caliper brackets. Since I didn't receive the oil with these like the description states I used a standard cutting oil. Haven't used all f them but out of the 3 I've used I am not impressed with the longevity of them at all!! Also did not receive the ½ pint of our exclusive Flex-Hone oil, USB flash drive containing how-to videos, application guides, and surface finish tech books that the description states are included with these.
