COVERGIRL - Easy Breezy Brow Fill + Define Brow Pencil, Sharpener Included, Long-Lasting, Deeply Pigmented, Blendable Formula, 100% Cruelty-Free

This is one of those OG makeup products that’s been around forever and for good reason! It’s a bit harder and waxier than some brow pencils but it doesn’t smudge, has a perfect amount of pigment and offers some shaping quality to it. I find that it lasts all day and removes easily without losing shape soap and water, micellar water, make up wipes or a damp make up eraser cloth. The color match is also fantastic for dark/black haired people.

I’ve tried a lot of brow products over time, and the COVERGIRL Easy Breezy Brow Fill + Def is one of the few I’ve actually kept going back to. Most others either looked too heavy, didn’t last, or were just too complicated for a quick routine. This one is simple to use and gives a natural, filled-in look without making my brows look drawn on or stiff. It holds up well through the day and makes my brows look more put together without a lot of effort, which is exactly what I was looking for after trying so many different options.

......when I try to sharpen these things with the sharpener provided in the package half the time the colored point breaks off flush with the wood outer casing and I wind up using maybe half of each pencil while the other half is wasted due to this breakage problem. I'm not sure if the issue is with the pencils themselves or with the cheap-o sharpeners sold in the package with them, I only know I am tired of constant sharpening and constant feeling like I am getting ripped off every time a point breaks off and I have to toss it and try to get the pencil sharp enough to get my eyebrows looking decent and not all wild and NOT have that early 80's Brooke Shields thing going on. I know these are inexpensive pencils, but I still don't think they should break so much. I have typically had very good experiences with Covergirl products and it seems like these pencils were not so easily or often broken in the past. Get it together, Covergirl. I am shopping around for a replacement for these and as soon as I find something decent and in the right price range I am jumping ship and will no longer be buying these rotten things. Being frustrated almost to tears while putting on my makeup does nothing for my look or my day and I will not continue to buy a product if the manufacturer of that product does nothing to preserve its quality.

Worked well on my skin

This had the density and stick factor of cement that was one puff of breath away from drying. So hard and just would not draw onto skin almost at all unless you pushed so hard you basically stabbed yourself and then when you did push it hard enough to get even a tiny bit to stay on your skin it would like cement your freaking eyebrow hairs to it and pull them out like wax. It was awful I got maybe 2 dots of color on my actual brows and lost probably 6 or 7 eyebrow hairs before I realized it was pulling them out (I'm kind of blind, I didn't really see it until I looked at them all stuck to the pencil). The tip literally broke off I pushed so trying to get color to actually get on so I tried to sharpen it hoping maybe that would get some hard dense top layer off and it might be softer underneath but nope, wouldn't even sharpen it would just keep breaking off in the pencil sharpener! Absolute waste of money! So glad it was so cheap or I would be pissed as hell and demanding a refund! Guess this is what I get for trying generic brands for like the 1st time in 20 years. I guess you get what you pay for. I will stick with my high end makeup from now on. Never had an issue like this before.

Really like this one. The color worked well for me, it was easy to apply, and it gave my brows a natural filled-in look without being too harsh. I also liked that it blended nicely and stayed put pretty well through the day. For the price, this is a really good everyday brow pencil and super easy to keep in my makeup bag.
